Note: You are required to download their digital wallet app here to be eligible.

For Online, In-store or over the Phone orders:

  • Earn $50 when you spend $500-$799
  • Earn $70 when you spend $800 or more

For Online and C&C:

  • Earn $20 when you spend $200-$299
  • Earn $30 when you spend $300-$499

StoreCash unfortunately expires after 10 days, so have to watch out for that.

      StoreCash is paid on StoreCash Pay Day, every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

      Have you checked with this?

      • I purchased and collected on Wed two weeks ago (i.e. there have been two Thursdays since then), so I should have store cash now, right? But I couldn't see anything in my storecash wallet.

        • The 3rd Thursday doesn't count unfortunately, wait till 24th november which is the 4th Thursday of the month, if you still haven't received it by then, contact them.

        Yeah was purchased a few days before the 2nd Thursday so assumed would have got it nearly 2 weeks ago. And 10 days expiry if and when it arrives is a bit stiff

        • Damn, I'm hearing a lot of bad things about TGG right now :/
          I really hope this gets resolved soon.

          I hate how its only 10 days, not even a full month. It seems like they want to profit as much as possible and only did this campaign to please customers for some time (doesn't seem to be working)

    I remember looking into the store credit last month when I was looking for a dishwasher but then I read this:

    "Unless otherwise stated in a StoreCash Offer, all StoreCash that you have earned expires ten (10) calendar days after the date on which it is credited to your Digital Wallet. You are responsible for checking the status of your Digital Wallet to know when StoreCash has been deposited and its expiry date. If you have enabled notifications in your Digital Wallet you will receive a notification when StoreCash has been credited to your Digital Wallet."

    It was therefore better for me to just find a good % off deal on eBay then try get the StoreCash in store. 10 days….. really?

      Could've been a good oppurtunity to get some future discounts but they just killed it as soon as it launched.

  • Shop credit expires within 10 days I think.
    Also this deal ends November 30 and you have to have the goods received/delivered to qualify for the promotion.
    However i was informed a similiar deal will run into the following month but i can not confirm this.

  • I purchased iPhone 14 Pro through them on launch day. Signed up for the StoreCash offer prior to purchase. 2 Months later, I am still waiting for my phone and the credit expired as it had to be activated upon item pickup.
    TLDR: Dont buy electronics from Good Guys, stick to electricals…

    These guys are dodgy AF, after much complaining when they didn't pay out the StoreCash due to their systems malfunction, they ended up giving me the equivalent in store credit…which didn't work and ended up locking my account out from using store credit.. hopeless, it's been going on for nearly three weeks now.

    • Yep, I've had to contact them 3 x now as well for no sign of StoreCash. Still waiting to hear back (again) but no one ever calls / emails / SMS back. Pretty frustrating.

    Make sure you read the damn T&C carefully cos you miss one point, they will refuse your store credits. Mine was refused as I forgot to opt in the "receive spam emails" option from them. So don't count this toward your purchase

    No invoice - they say must be in person it issue
    So many tactic/ hoops to jump

    After waiting and waiting for this to appear in my app head office informs me this is only issued on the 2nd and 4th thursdays of the month. Still waiting. Very misleading.

      and 2nd and 4th thursdays was brought in for November payouts, if you're owed it from purchasing in October, it was meant to be paid on 3rd November, as per T&Cs below confirmed with the Good Guys:

      That being said, it's now the 22nd November and I made a purchase the last week of October and I still haven't received my funds. They originally blamed me for not setting up the wallet properly but showing the 12 SMSes I send trying to get the system set up as well as a screenshot of my wallet worked (eventually).

      The whole thing is mismanaged and it's practically impossible to both earn and/or chase it up. If you're going to purchase from The Good Guys, don't factor in the "savings" from StoreCash as you're better off buying a lotto ticket instead.

  • I wish they would bring back the emails or text messages. I have signed up several times and never get the link to download this so called app. Can't get onto customer service either.

      Customer service is a joke. Have contacted them 4 times now as of yesterday re: missing StoreCash. Every time they claim to be investigating and will contact me. It’s been weeks & my original order was from Oct. Gonna have to contact ACCC.

    Bought a TV three weeks ago. Still no Storecash and when I contacted them, they said they will get back to me but never did.

    FYI, I received storecash today and expiry date is 04/12/2022.
    I made purchase on 9th Nov 2022(Wednesday) and it released 4th Thursday of month.
    I think if you made purchase before 2nd Thursday you can received 4th Thursday and after 2nd Thursday you will received 2nd Thursday of next month.

  • I should of received $70 from my order from the 11th, picked up 21st. What is the best contact? Just call the store?
    Also they sent through a text to get a surgery $10 to view a digital receipt but still nothing

      Store will/can not help.
      Phone never gets thru and if it does they will send you an SMS directing you to their web page.
      Web Chat (that little icon bottom right) of their home page is the only way to get some (and I say that generously) help.

      And digital invoice $10 store credit is one time offer, if you already received before with another, you can't. And it issued on follow Wednesday after you accessed digital invoice.

        First time ever using the storecash wallet thing so should have got the $10 too

        • In my case, I made order and delivered before 2nd Thursday Nov and I received storecash on 4th Thursday.

          However, you picked up on 21st.
          Normally TGG invoice issued on picked up or delivered date. Digital invoice also received on 21st in your case, isn't it? So I think your $10 will be released 30th Nov.

          A few days a go I chatted with C/S staff and I asked when can I receive my storecash and staff said 2nd Thursday Dec. But I received on 4th Thursday. So I drew this conclusion, someone done between after 2nd Thursday and last day of month, storecash released 2nd Thursday of next month.

          Actually, I'm not sure about that, you should better chat with C/S staff. It could be missing.
