3 Metre Steel Climbing Dome $199 (Save $200) + Delivery ($0 to most Metro Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney) @ Bunya Kids

40

Note that this is significantly bigger than the ones that Bunnings and Kmart sell

This is an awesome piece of play equipment that kids really love and will get them outside and moving whilst having a great time.

Built to survive harsh Australian conditions with hot dipped galvanised steel and powder coating as well as stainless steel nuts / bolts / washers. Comes flat packed and requires assembly (1-2hrs, tools provided) and it's quite large once assembled (3 metre diameter, 1.5 metres high) so make sure you have the space. Suitable for ages 3-10. Maximum total weight capacity of 350KG.

These have been really popular overseas and we decided to start selling them because most of the alternatives in the Australian market are just too small for older kids.

Any questions let me know. There's no coupon code but you must follow the Ozbargain link to get the special price.

Metro shipping: free metro shipping applies to metro Adelaide / Melbourne & Sydney, other areas like metro Brisbane have very cheap shipping so check with our calculator in cart to confirm

Please note: due to issues with our shipping carrier the dome may come separated into two boxes.
Depending on demand it may take up to a week for your order to ship.

Free 'metro' shipping: A customer has pointed out that they are not receiving free shipping to a metro location in Melbourne. Some 'metro' suburbs our courier doesn't seem to offer their standard metro rates to and unfortunately this is out of our control (usually these will be outer suburbs / hills suburbs). Apologies for the confusion here. Most metro areas in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney will have free shipping but in some cases you may be charged - you can check this with our shipping estimator once adding to cart.

  • Ours has been going strong for a couple of years now! Kids still play on it daily.

  • Whats the height.
Thinking of modding it to an igloo in the backyard for when we get guest from Antarctica

    • 1.5m

    • Santa lore usually has him as an Arctic native.

  • Can't even give my smaller generic one away! My generic rusted out (undoing bolts is likely to cause damage) so needs a ute to move as a whole. I wonder how the one in the op will fare.

    • Many competitors are steel with powder coated paint which can rust really fast. Ours is galvanised and then powder coated so will last a lot longer than these but it does depend a lot on where you live as to the longevity. Ours about 1km from the beach in SA is 2 years in the weather in partial shade and still looks brand new with absolutely no signs of rust.

      • Nice one on the galvanising. I presume bolts to match? Mine is certainly powder coated only.

        • Website says stainless steel nuts and bolts, so even better.

          • @clintdb: Edited out my long comment and the tldr was it's not always that simple but here i think stainless fixings are the right choice

  • Maybe I could turn it into a greenhouse.

    • I once put a sheet over mine so i could weed the garden in the summer heat

If you're after a greenhouse there's surely cheaper options
