Lowest price ever on Samsung QN90B 75" Neo QLED
It is also available at BING LEE where you can use 5%cashback @ SHOPBACK
out of stock from Samsung official store
delivery is free
when I compare it to OLED LG C2 EVO it was very comparable, with even better brightness (@ Rtings & TVfinder.com)
it is 1000$ more than Sony X85X , 200$ cheaper than Sony X85X 85& & 300 cheaper than Sony X90X 75
but is better than all of them markedly in terms of (glare reflection, and viewing angle, sport (HRTZ)) & better marginally in (movies, SDR & HDR )
also noticed it has :
Audio 4.2.2 Channels with 60 Watt
HDMI 2.1 X 4

Also, I need Advice from TV & Sale experts please;
- I want 85or even 75-inch TV, but the 75 OLED is too expensive, and 85is a suicide.(budget is <4000$) - I found this 75 QLED which is a bit comparable to OLED quality & better than other LEDs. 1) Do you think buying it now is better or waiting till BOXING DAY & NEW YEAR SALE will be better? 2) shall I wait till Samsung make a bigger sale (NOT necessary as not all models are in sale, also it is out of stack) 3) Shall I buy it and then keep it sealed in a box (before it goes away) till the new year, in case something is better, I will return this and then buy the other one? 4) do you have any recommendations for a better deal alternative to this tv as 75 or 85 with the same quality?
5) is it better to buy it from Bing Lee & get 5 % ShopBack cashback or JbHiFi is better?

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2022

You can get it from Samsung Store for like 2500ish if you ask support for a loyalty voucher. There was stock yesterday.

    • +4

      Yes got the qn95b 75" for 2600ish 🤙

      • Nice, I back ordered the 65" for 2099. Bigger than I planned but no 55" stock.

      • really !! it is not at the website anymore
        has: get stock alert
        any tricks I can do?

        • Ah damn. Well the 65" said that then they let me backorder after a few hours so just keep an eye on it

      • that is super cheap. how did you get it?

      • can i ask why you went for the 95b over the 90b. Most of the Rtings comparison areas review the 90b higher (pretty much everything other than HDR brightness) so curious what drove the decision. Still a great TV regardless.

        • I thought it was largely the same TV but with the set top box inputs.

        • It was only $200 difference and the set up box is really nice and give you more options for cable management.

          • @momirzzz: ahh set up box inputs. Didn't see that difference.
            Checks out

      • Must have been last one, out of stock now :(

    • +2

How do you contact support to ask for the voucher? I can't see a chat option on the website?

      • I rang them up and got a 30% off loyalty code - see phone number here: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/contact/

        • How did it go down. Did you ask them for an offer or just offer it up when you stated that TV was not available?

          • +2

@Chillgoon: you ask the support. For me they asked if I have a Samsung product (i.e. a TV) which I do, and then after providing evidence (pic of compliance plate) they provided a 30% coupon code.

            • +1

@JDMcarfan: Legend. Just spoke to them in the end was able to get a 30% loyalty voucher. Problem is the tv is out of stock on their site, so don't know if will able to get it.

              • +1

@Chillgoon: yeah same issue here. No stock of any desirable TV. Have tested code on an another TV (sale price $3000) and promo code brought it down to ~2500 so not exactly 30% but ill take it

                • @JDMcarfan: Was it an OLED? They only give 15% off on those.

                  • @mackdiddy: I was asking about NEO QLEDS and my voucher seems to say that its 30% for only Neo QLEDs. Also has 30 days expiry. Fingers crossed. The QN90B is the only one I am after. All the reviews seem to have that as the next best thing after the OLEDs (and I have a bright room), plus samsung OLED only goes to 65"

                    • @Chillgoon: Yeah I got one from the sammy site a month back for this exact reason. Hasn't let me down.

                  • @mackdiddy: Was a Q60b I think definitely not the s95b

                  • @mackdiddy: Yeah it's 15% but I'm applying it to the qn95b which is a neo qled. I'm confused

              • +1

@Chillgoon: The code is valid for 30 days, so hopefully the TV will be restocked in the next couple of days!

                • @fortunecookie: Mine was only valid for like a week! Damn

                  • @mackdiddy: Same here only a week

                  • +3

@mackdiddy: I went back to support and they corrected my voucher to 30% and made the period 30days.
                    Happy with the $2660 QN95B

                    • @JDMcarfan: about to pull the trigger on the same

                      • @Chillgoon: DAMMIT out of stock on the QN95B also - wasnt quick enough! Managed to buy on preorder the 75" QN90B so could get the amazing deal $2450! ships 19th December

                • @fortunecookie: Did you try it on QN95B? May not have stock back when all the retailers discount on it.

      • Some pages show a chat prompt on the right hand side on desktop. But i believe phone is better because you don't have to verify anything

    • really !! it is not on their website anymore
      saying to get stock alert
      any tricks I can do?

    • +1

      No stock Samsung

      • I asked the CSO who gave me a loyalty voucher and they said they're OOS. Maybe be back in the next week but no promises.

    • Thanks for this. But I think I am too late. Hope the QN90B 85 inch comes back in stock.

    • This is so good. Just got the 75" Samsung Frame for $1,749.30

      • Very good price, I think the loyalty voucher only for some models.

        Q70B, Q80B 75" all no stock.

    • Has anyone got an extra 30% off loyalty voucher?
Desperately want QN90B 75 but don’t own any Samsung product :(

samsung makes terrible TVs. We've been through 4 75-85 inch ones all through warranty they seem to last about a year. their aftersales support is appalling ill never buy a Samsung device again.

  • +1

Tp be honest i wouldn't go with neither Samsung nor LG or any brand working with them. There are things that you need to consider BEYOND marketing gimmicks that are there just to get you over the line and on board of buying their products.

I had Samsung last few TV's and next one won't be most probably, previous one LEDs started ungluing (backlit tv) and pressing on the panel, current one (Samsung Serif, edge lit) started getting light bleeding in bottom corners overnight after barely 25 months 2-3 hours of use daily max.

Samsung has lots of screen issues/faults but reading about LGs they're even crazier TV's overall, have many more faults non panel related, but panel also. Yesterday i had a look at the 42" C2 in the store and noticed ghosting on bit faster movements. It's laughable that paying $500 or $5000 for a TV you get a đź’© one year warranty, yes got consumer law blah blah blah but they covered that well also to weasel themselves out of. Most disgusting part is that sellers in stores won't tell you, help you decide with which brand to go as they know best all the faults coz customers returns. I've read that a lot of people had issues and under warranty returned their TV's to the stores, Harvey Norman, JB etc. And were refusing to do anything regarding faults by instructions of the manufacturer….

When I'll be buying my next TV I'm really going to do my homework regarding TV and to see with who to go for extra/extended warranty and what it covers without hidden undisclosed details so i know what im covered for and that i can return the garbage once it starts dying naturally, known by the manufacturers also that don't care to rectify all those issues. Only what matters is to have new gimmicky marketing line up ready for the next year's new money grabbing season.

Its all fun and nice for the first year or two max, but, did you buy the TV and spent that much money for a year or two?

    • +4

I am not disputing your experience with Samsung or LG. But if these two big players make such horrible TVs, which other brand will you consider? Sony?

But I have heard equally terrible things about Sony TVs, not to mention they are 20-30% more expensive than the equivalent Samsung.

      And I can't see TCL/Hisense making better TVs either…..

      • -1

It's not my experience, it's majority of consumers experience if you read online especially on official Samsung and LG forums where consumers are left to help each other and customer support is there just to post templated, robotic, unhelpful response as they're unfamiliar with all that 🤣

Your money, your problem, if you want to go for an adventure go right away, neither in or out of my pocket, I've learnt my lesson.

Neither Sony as they use LG panels also, not sure who to go with when quality is đź’© and they're not held responsible for it. They don't care, consume law doesn't care, they all know all this and play dumbfcked about it as usual. So I'm looking in this situation for best insurance/warranty extra cover, to get a refund or replacement when it starts dying off.

        • +4

          So youve left yourself… hisense… and…

          • @mackdiddy: This. If you avoid Samsung and LG and everyone they partner/share parts with….that's a VERY small list. In Australia, it basically is just Hisense (as you say) as far as the 'Brands' go, and I would not expect to improve your experience by going to the real no-names.

        • +3

majority of consumers experience who make accounts and post about it online

People need to remember that, for every person on the internet who has an issue, there may be dozens/hundreds/thousands of people who have had no issues.

Very little people just go "you know what? My TV has been working fine for years. I have had no issues at all, so I am going to create an account on [whatever tech support website] and keep telling people every day about how I've had no issues".

        • +2

it's majority of consumers experience if you read online especially on official Samsung and LG forums where consumers are left to

If you read online you can always found bad experience with every brands.

Because only bad experience people will post.

    • +1

      Samsung nor LG

Going off rtings website ratings, if you value picture quality and many other features in your TV, then you're pretty much just left with Samsung, LG, and Sony anywhere near the top.

      https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/table

      • +1

I've read in other posts that rtings only applies to US models as we get crap screen substitutes etc., down under…if that's the case there needs to be a Australian rating site (is Choice an authoritative source for ratings?)

        • Interesting if the rtings reviews aren't accurate for Aussie TV's! Not sure who would be closest because I enjoy how thorough the rtings comparisons are

          • +2

@DiscountForThee: There's some truth to it, but I'd say its more of a 'do your due diligence' than a rule.
MOST products with the same model numbers will be the same (or negligibly different) internationally, but it's definitely true that certain manufacturers have, for certain years, had region specifics.
Most recently, Hisense got caught out selling an entirely different/inferior range in Australia than the highly regarded US models. And some years ago Samsung branded their TVs one tier higher in Aus, than their equivalent in US (eg a 9 series here was only an 8 series there). However once you matched up the models, they were basically the same.

My advice would always to be look at panels in the store and see what looks good to you, check models/specs/reviews online and look out for any discrepancies with AU vs US. A lot of the time it's quite blatant like having a different stand, or frame, and that should prompt you to dig a bit deeper, but 9 times out of 10 they're all the same.

    • You are soo right about how long they last considering the amount’s we pay.
I’ve had many many tv’s over the last 40 years and if I remember correctly, instead of tv’s lasting longer, they are getting worse.
I’m talking how long they last before problems.
The warranty is absolutely crap, one year.
I’m sure I could think of other electric items, but if I can compare a decent mobile phone, which is probably half the price to an average television, more than outlast these latest TVs.
I guess I could come up with more comparisons, but I’ll be here boring everyone if I haven’t already.
Until now I was preparing to date my two-year-old Samsung that also started losing large amounts of pixels down the bottom right hand corner, or it is called bleeding not sure of the terminology. This started right after the first year.
I guess I’ll be going for something cheaper, knowing that it’s going to more than likely be problematic in someway or another

    • I got QN85B QNED a couple of months ago. The screen goes very dim on darker scenes. None of settings, enabled or disabled, solves the issue. It’s been over a week chasing Samsung support without any response. Visited JB Hi-Fi, they created another case and said they’ll have to wait for Samsung technician’s evaluation before refund or replacement. Samsung is not responding so there is that. I’ve sent them videos, frame captures from this videos that clearly shows the problem. Now after reading your comment I am thinking if I manage to get a refund what should I get.

    • Had multiple high end Samsung's and LG's over the years, touch wood, never had an issue. The issues the TV's did have were on par with the panels / tech issues covered by expert reviewers so no surprises on my end.

Had mg LG GX for a few years now and it remains a wonderful picture. Just put a 75S90B on the parents wall. Also a lovely TV but still doesn't outperform my GX on anything other than brightness and some colour gradation.

  • Sony don't seem much better lol, what else is there?

    • actually nothing apart form OLED

      • +1

still made by said, Samdung, lg, Sony

      • All WOLED panels are LG display, all QDOLED are Samsung Display**

Is it me or that font changed a few times in the post like OP was having an episode?

    • +1

I dunt know why the font has changed!

      • +1

Lol it was not easy to read those questions.
In my experience, warranty is from manufacturer so you should go with cheapest price. Other things you have answered yourself, its a million dollar question, now or boxing day?

        • what do you think form your previous experience ?

also, I dunt know how to change that weird font

          • @Ahmednono: I have not much experience but i would say similar prices. People have suggested a discount to buy from Samsung up to 30% above

  • 75 oq90b or 65 s95 oled? Which one?

    • Bigger

    • Well! Only you know the answer to your own question. Would you prefer an extra 10inches or not.

      • Ended up going the 75 lol bigger if better.. that's what she said

Now i have to tell the wife .. she won't be happy

But 2450 for 75qn90b .. could not resist

  • +8

    I'll take a crack.

0a) If you're putting it in a dark room and/or viewing a lot with lights off, go OLED if you can
0b) if you're putting it in a bright room and/or viewing a lot with lights on, go QLED
0c) It's not impossible that the 77 CS OLED is purchasable for <$4k, but if you want bigger than that, you're correct, you'll have to go LED in that price range
    1) Prices across the board are very likely to be the same or similar between Black Friday and Boxing Day. Usually they'll only vary in response to the market eg. If nobody bites now and they have a stockpile, they'll price more aggressively for Boxing day, but this only usually applies for deals that are mediocre in the first place. You likely WILL see slightly (or more than slightly) cheaper prices in the Feb/March clearance period when they're making way for new stock.
    2) See above regarding pricing scale. As far as different models, the Holiday Sales period isn't necessarily significantly cheaper than other times, but it IS the time when the widest range of options go on sale.
    3) No, if you're not sure you want it, don't buy it. If you are sure, just buy it. In addition JB Hifi (for example) have 30 day price protection, so if you can hold to the weekend, you'll be able to claim if boxing day is cheaper. Other outlets have different policies, but generally they're ok with this. Basically they just do a paper refund, and resale and then claim the difference from the supplier anyway.
    4) As others have mentioned, there may be other methods to get an even better deal on the 75Q90B, but no guarantee. As I mentioned, I'd keep an eye on the LG 77CS OLED, currently on sale @ $4795, but ebay has it down to $4416, and one punter claims to have gotten it for $4195 so there's clearly still some margin in it, and it MIGHT come down <$4k, or if not, it's not that much above. However if looking at OLED see above points 0a and 0b. I'd also consider the Sony 75X90K which is a fair bit cheaper at $2785.
    5) I'd probably attempt to get JB/TGG/HN to negotiate down that 5% and not have to deal with waiting for cashback personally. Otherwise depends on where your nearby stores are, and how helpful (or not) they are. Also JB currently offering free delivery for 75"+ (not sure if others follow suit).

I'll also throw this out there unsolicited, but I just get a vibe (apologies if I'm completely wrong), but make sure you budget for sound! If you already have a sound system great, if not definitely re look at your budgeting because there's nothing worse than a 75/85" TV playing out of its own anemic speakers.

Great work. This is the sort of advice that makes ozbargain invaluable. Still not sure what 85” to go for but love the input

Am I missing something, through the getting a 30% voucher from samsung, whilst there are no QN90Bs in stock (75") there seems to be QN95B. The review sites seem to have them as pretty much even in terms of how good they are and I can get it for $2660! Should I just be pulling the trigger on the QN95B?

    • I can get it for $2660! Should I just be pulling the trigger on the QN95B?

yes , since no stock for QN90B

    • yep go for the qn95b. sadly my voucher is only giving me 15% off so I'm back to support to have this corrected to 30%

    • Its back in stock.. but won't be delivered earlier like Dec 20.. just ordered earlier

  • For the record - the QN90B is back "in stock" - but will not ship out before Dec-19.

  • has anyone been able to use the voucher on top of the sale price on Samsung website?
    looking to secure a QN90B (75)

    Also, are there vouchers user-specific?

    • Yes, the Qn90b came back in stock with a ship date of dec19 like others have said. Was able to get it for 2450! In 75inch

    • Just did
      $2450 for 75" QN90B

Took very minimal effort via online chat to get the promo code, just send a pic/details of current samsung product to get it

  • i ordered the 65" QN90b from samsung using the loyalty code via the chat, brought it down to 2099.

  • I would appreciate some updates from those who ordered through the samsung website. My 85 qn90b is expected to ship after 9 Jan :(

  • Hasn't this deal ended?
