If you flip it, maybe we can talk.
    $400 off an economy

    • +2

even so its still $1.1k return to Tokyo on economy. That's ridiculous.

      • +4

Unfortunately that seems to be the going rate at the moment

fair call, had a look at SkyScanner. SQ was going for $1.2k on the dates selected with no coupon. This is $1.4k with coupon, its not a deal, seems to be an ad promoting 'green' at a premium.

      • Mate it's generally well over $2k where I'm looking. Right through to march.

  • werent they going to offer free flights to HK?

    Good for the weebs.

  • Cheap asses

Jesus Christ $1.4k to Tokyo economy return. Hard pass.

Any flights departing MEL for NRT in December are $7000-$9000…ECONOMY. And that's just one leg.
But you know, take $100 off that.

(yes, I know that's peak period, but the travel dates are set as from 1 December)

    LOL

  • I checked flight from Sydney to Narita over Christmas week coming back 3 weeks later and the flight was $5K…… 100 bucks… hahahaha

    • To be fair you're late in booking though. I booked mine in March, checked exact same dates/flights, it's over $5k now on SQ.

        1. At least SQ goes to Haneda 2. Cathay also transits in HK 3. Just checked and JAL is cheaper by a few hundred.
        • +1

Understand, but SQ also first to Narita. SQ transits in Singapore (personally prefer Changi over HK airport).

JAL being cheaper is probably the main point.

"Up to" should be banned from all marketing campaigns

I feel like hearing from someone who + this post😅

    • "I am in love with Japanese culture. I want to learn everything about Japan, and I want to brush up on my Japanese. Looking for language exchange partner."

      • hahaha, was hoping to hear why they would think the price is good

  • Is transiting through HKG back to normal? I heard the facilities are not fully open yet and very limited atm.. what's the COVID situation there? I assume travellers need to do some PCR test at destination country might ask if you transit through hkg

    • Went to Japan via HKG early this month.
Transit does not require PCR test or vac cert.

  • OZ BARGAINERS !! RETALIATE !!

  • wow, I was checking for flights just 2 days ago for $1500, now flying for the same period with coupon is $1800

  • +2

Lol still more expensive than flying direct with ANA.

  • +1

I am booking my flights back to Seoul. Not badly priced considering that everything is $$$$ atm.

  • Not a deal.
