Note it doesn't ever state sandisk in the description, just on that photo. I wouldn't risk it.

Plain english: if we sell you fake stuff, that's your fault for believing what we wrote on the site.

hhhhmmmm, I'm not a law talking guy but I believe that that T&C is useless from a consumer protection perspective.

"We do not accept responsibility for loss suffered as a result of reliance by you upon the accuracy or currency of information contained on this web site."

It's against the law for them to claim that. If they advertise something, and you buy by relying on what they advertised, then they have to support it under that assumption. If the product doesn't achieve what was advertised then you're entitled to replacement or refund.

Gonna have to neg based on that alone…

        Fairly standard…..

        • +3

Key difference: "To the extent permitted by law".

        • You mean they can avoid being bound by the law if they exclude that? :)

        • lol…

        • +3

No, I mean they're breaking the law if they exclude that. For example:

Legal: "No refunds except where required by law".
          Illegal: "No refunds".

MSY paid $200,000 in fines partly because of that.

        • +1

Ah. Well. That's a different biscuit. Deserve a wedgie for that one then.

  • ABN for those who are interested.

Sister company which has phone numbers and has been in business for 12 years but hasn't updated it's copyright (or web design) since 2007. Hmm.

    • hmmm…. so could be legit….

Their site doesn't inspire confidence ….

    • +1

If its fake, then we could take it up with the ACCC

      • +1

And in 2-3 years time when the ACCC might get around to looking at it then something might happen. Until then you're out $19.

      • Or we could ask for a refund/replacement….

        • +1

          fail..

Looking at http://www.paylesssupplies.com.au (the 'supplier' for this deal) gives me shudders…including the 'free delivery' and 'buy now' graphics shamelessly "borrowed" from oo.com.au http://www.paylesssupplies.com.au/images/pic1.jpg — This does NOT look like a reputable operator. Giving it a neg and a very wide berth.

    • Sounds like a "white van" scam

      http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1249495

      • Where is connection - did you buy any coupons at all from any websites ?

        • +2

Theres no connection. Just saying this this sounds like one of those white van scams. And let me guess, as you are the only one who +1 this, either you got conned into buying of these cards or are a rep of the company?

        • I have no connection with the company , but I bought before from them and received it. I also bought memory brfore online and reeceived it - from other online company - ShoppingSquare. I also did not put + for myself and not minusing even stupid remarks.

        • +2

either you got conned into buying of these cards or are a rep of the company?

Or have the power of independent thought, not swept along by mob mentality….

If it is legit (and there is, as yet, no firm evidence that it isn't), then it is indeed a good deal.

No independent reviews of payless supplies…. (they may or may not be legit….. )
"looks like", "Sounds like", "seems" are purely opinions.
There are some reviews relating to WPFP…. however, whilst I'm not doubting them, they are like any other of the 'deal' sites…. you only hear of the bad reviews. They are still in business…

Personally, I wouldn't risk them….. but that's me, it doesn't mean I know enough to neg what might be a perfectly legitimate deal.

        • I agree 100% with andy - amazed of some people low IQ.
Hear is the deal - take it or leave it.
In NSW customers has protection - supplier, Paypal or gredir Card and
Office of Fair Trading. I always get refunded for not delivered/lost goods.
Your responsibility to know what are you buying and be truthful.

So reading most "horror" stories I am always take it with a bit of salt and pepper ( and working in customer service for some years I know how some people do and report them )!!

  • +1

    it is super shaddy

  • +3

I wonder if officework are silly enough to price match it..

    • +1

Last time I tried with a 32GB card (SanDisk Extreme HD) they said they don't stock 32GB cards in-store. Worth a try though.

      • +1

From what I could see it is class 10 card and not Extreme - and match suppose to be
        1-to-1.

        • +1

Yes, I know, I'm using the SanDisk Extreme HD as an example. The store I went to said they don't stock 32GB cards. So I doubt they'll have the micro SD class 10.

  • If you could see from http://www.couponadvisor.com.au/index.php?action=new_rated_s… this site
is 8th most popular. BUT I posted this deal, as a good in MHO - and if you dont like it -or dont
trust this offer - dont buy it.
