  • would it work with a boost sim?

    • dont think so,, but works with Telstra pre/post paid sim

I reckon it should work with Boost SIM, cause Boost is actually with Telstra network.

      • I can confirm it works. The problem is just you don't see how much data left with boost

Hasn't it been at $49 as regular price in the past? I remember buying one couple of years ago

  • Will it be locked to Telstra and is it easy to unlock?

    • it's locked..all the unlocked ones are expensive

      • Thanks, might give it a pass as the unlocking process sounds tedious (mentioned by GoodDealDave below).

I had been using this one for 6mth, works great and afforable. You need to contact Telstra CS to unlock it to Optus or Vodafone, plus some VPS setting for V and O. Works with Boost but never be able to display data usage. Anyone know how to crack with Boost usage over pocket wifi?.

  • Does anybody know if this can provide internet via its USB connection?

I'm looking for something to plug into the USB port on my router as a backup WAN link

no it doesnt. you better buy a cheaper usb 4g wifi dongle

      • Cheers for the info
