  • Snapped up 4 of those Seagate drives. I had an order for a similar set of drives from Amazon but they were going to take an eternity to ship. Thanks!

    • +1

If you need more they're going for $350 in the group buy!

  • Is that DDR5 kit any good, I know it's on the slow end but thought I'd ask.

    • +1

Good price for a place holder kit, still doesn’t make sense to me to jump on the ddr5 train now but these are okish in terms of performance

      • Thanks. For 2 hundy rather get 3600 cl16 and which is high-end ddr4.
That will tie me over for the next 2-3years

    • +2

cheaper at amazon AU import from US with slow delivery time. $185

  • Would of pulled the trigger on the rog falchion if it was the NX variant.. Otherwise good deal on the cherry brown nontheless

  • +1

It surprises me that rtx 3060's are still going for $100 more than i paid for a 6600xt 6 months ago, on a black friday sale no less.

    • For at home machine learning needs they are a beast. I was aiming for a 3060 TI but settled for a 3060 a few months ago, and the 12gb of vram has just cut it for a bunch of machine learning stuff I've been working into my work. It's painful looking for higher vram with the 3090 seeming to not exist anymore and the 4090 being the only real upgrade option.

      • I don't really understand why you can't do ML on a dirt cheap 6900xt - why do the popular libraries vendor lock themselves to cuda api for ML? It's all just matrix multiplication and vram lookups behind the api anyway, right?

        • AMD hasn't really gotten it working reliably on windows and doesn't seem too interested in it. Nvidia is pretty necessary if you don't want to be constantly pulling your hair out trying hacks to get amazing AI tools working (which are already stressful and hacky enough in general).

  • where are all the 3080 and 3080ti deals :)

  • crap deal prices they are trying to get the 3060 stock out. so no deal here ..
