Black Friday Buyer Support Group - if You Spent Too Much

Support group for those who spent a lot of money on something that don't really need on this black friday.

I'll go first

Hi I am azero and I spent $1299 on a sony 24mm F1.4 GM lens on ebay. - It was $300 off and there is another $100 cash back on my defence :)

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2022

Where’s the support group for those disappointed by the lack of deals?

    • not here ;(

They've realised that most people hear "SALE!!!!" - that they think there automatically they are getting a bargain…

Do nothing with a price just put a bright flash sign on it with a price… most lemmings wouldn't know the difference…

yeah I know but for this I had been watching this for months and this was the lowest price probably ever

    • When over 300 deals posted isn't enough. Already bad enough that people are voting less.

  • I spent $10 on some recip saw blades.
Might go all in and also buy a hub nut socket for $20.

I spent $230 on 32gb DDR5 laptop memory, then un-bought it as I questioned my priorities.

So instead, I have so far spent $8 on 3x bamboo chopping boards.

Unless you wanted an OLED, i dont think there will be that many people in your rehab group ;)

    • Pretty much this, last black Friday, got my self a OLED, laptop and few others things put me around $10k spending.
This time around, just a boost sim card lol

Black Friday good for TV buys, rest just hit and miss.

Was not expecting to buy a new camera, ended up with a7iii - $1370 after Cashback, Sony promo & Amex. Will also claim work expense.

    Replacing my a7r2.

  • Honestly I haven't seen any really good deals for BF for the last couple of years, there are better deals posted the rest of the year. Obviously there are some outliers but I haven't seen anything amazing.

    Won't bother waiting next year.

  • Was hoping to find a good deal on a router but no luck

Ended up spending about $150 on work items

  • I have bought ZERO.
And I am ashamed of myself.
