If It was curved, it would be perfect.

    • I have a curved acer predator at home and used a flat 34" ultra wide lg at work, there's not much difference in my opinion.

avoid this one champ!, well known flickering issues.

    • flicker-free

      You vs Kogan marketing… hmmm.

      • Do as you please :)

thought it was obvious I was making a poke at Kogan marketing haha

  • Is one wide/long monitor better than two separate ones side by side? Not for work purposes or anything. General use, maybe a bit of gaming.

I've looked this up so many times and it's always 50/50 - I'd love OzB's take on this.

Excellent for work, especially for spreadsheets and digital whiteboards.
      Gaming is fantastic.
Video watching isn't as good, most content will leave you with black bars on the screen.

Just think ultrawide as 1.5x monitors, if you need more then dual

      I'm dual screening a 27" and a 34" flat UW.

      Gaming - ultra wide
General use - depends how much Windows you need open, 3 narrower Windows on a QHD ultrawide, 4 decent ones with a dual 27".

      • 16:9 videos is annoying af with pillar boxes
      • better ergonomics with split screens

I'd say wide screen for leisure use and gaming.

  • I would not trust to put so much on a kogan monitor, considering the warranty is non-existent, you better off buy some second hand x34p or PG349q or AW3418

  • Kogan have awful cs support

  • If only it had a bit higher res

  • Have a couple of similar Kogan ultrawides which are excellent, zero issues.

However, Kogan First isn't guaranteed to have free delivery - my postcode isn't eligible so the subscription is worse than useless. I managed to grab mine when there was a free delivery offer instead.

  • Fool me once Kogan. Never again with your flickering monitors……

  • Literally had a class action against nvidia for the gtx 970 3.5gb debacle when I did a warranty claim, meanwhile despite the links, Kogan found no fault and sent the item back. If I wanted international ebay seller morals I would buy from international ebay sellers for half the price Kogan sells for.

  • I was meant to post this up later tonight on behalf of Kogan. Beat me to it!

Will share a different deal instead 😉

    • The only decent KGN deal posted between the 24th and 25th was canceled due to price error. What a joke!
