Nice I rate the clear cases, dropped my iPhones heaps of times and always survived (famous last words)

    • +3

But they always yellow (even when WFH + minimal sunlight exposure).

      • Just get a yellow phone, then you won't notice the case yellowing ;)

      • Yes i have found that and a common problem. I get around 12 months of use.

And the hybrid gets dust in it (generally speaking on older phones, don't know about this one exactly.

Rugged armour good, got one as soon as I got the phone, slippery impractical finish on these phones. Always get one from their eBay store (free shipping eBay plus $5 voucher).

        • And the hybrid gets dust in it

Yes. I remember my XS Max had dust at the back and bottom, which I had to clean up every few months.

My MagSafe case for the 13 Pro Max has fared a little bit better. However, I found that the glue they used to attach the magnet at the back of the case was really weak (poor quality control).

Everytime I upgrade my phone I upgrade with a Spigen case from Pro Gadgets. I highly rate the clear Pixel cases and the prompt service.

    • Same, has been using Spigen cases since iPhone 6S, so far no issues with any accidental drop
worst case was having a crack on the screen protector and easily find a cheap replacement

Pro gadgets is great seller, Spigen case is amazing at an affordable price

  • Thank you OP! I've been holding off as well hoping for a BF deal from these guys

  • I ended up buying one their screen protectors with guide, never seen it before but I reckon it's a great idea. I hate putting the things on usually so hopefully this makes it less anxiety inducing! https://www.progadgets.com.au/spigen-google-pixel-7-alignmas…

    • Saw that in the box after I put my AmFilm one on, ha. Will try next time.

Does no cutout for the front camera matter?

      • Hopefully not, will let you know next week if it does haha

        • Yeah should be ok I think

    • +2

I can vouch for the alignmaster series, makes putting on screen protectors piss easy and the design tends to be cleaner than other brands

    • I am looking at buying the pixel 7. It comes with the Gorilla glass Victus, which I thought was the latest and greatest. Just wondering why you bought a screen protector for it? Am I missing something?

      • Drop it on the floor outside and let us know how it goes.

Btw the fingerprint scanner is annoying af and would probably work better with no screen protector. Although it's average anyway so don't think it matters. The face unlock is luckily good enough during the day, neither work at night.

        • Thanks. Might just get a case for it if I buy one.Still looking at other phones. The Realme 9 pro+ is looking good. Just need to do a little more research. Looking for a dual sim 6.4 in - or slightly smaller with good cameras. I've read that the selfie camera is sub par and conflicting reports about the wide angle camera too.

@omblygombly: Is recommend the SPIGEN rugged armour.

See how you go, the cameras are fine, don't care about selfies personally but it's still totally fine, the back camera is an improved over the Pixel 5 I had. I did read the Front camera maybe not as good as pixel 5 but don't think you'd notice that much difference. I couldn't justify the extra price for the telephoto lens on the pixel 7 pro.

            • +1

@G-rig: Thanks. Ended up buying the pixel 7 from OfficeWorks for $711 with their price match v Telstra. Also took your recommendation on the Spigen rugged armour. Just charging the phone now.

              • +1

                @omblygombly: Awesome sounds good, enjoy.
These cases don't add too much bulk, Super protective and last for ages.
PS better than stuffing around with Telstra and stuff.

  • Recommendations for iPhone 13 pro case ?

  • Cheers, have been looking for a new case. Was deciding between Spigen & Casetify, but guess I'll grab this on sale!

  • Damn. Just bought one on their eBay store last night!

    • Prob cheaper anyway on eBay with the $5 voucher (I paid $17.99 for the rugged armour for pixel 7. Looks like they've bumped the price up $2 lol (recommend that one btw, wouldn't mind another to compliment sometime, maybe a clear hybrid but usually go yellow, cheaper from website with 20%).

      • Yeh got the cash back and the $5, so hopefully cheaper!

        • not worth worrying about too much, they are still pretty cheap for how good they are compared to most other cases in store that are a lot more.

  • Best seller! Go to seller for entries families iDevices for spigen. Was my stepboard to Spigen in general since

  • I was about to buy but the iPhone Case and Screen protector combos from eBay are cheaper - even without discounts 🤔

  • Cheers, bought one of those expensive spigen z fold 4 cases ive been eyeing for a while..

    • link please?

  • A little buyer beware for this seller. I bought a Spigen case from them last year (the Classic C1 for my iPhone X). Was very happy with it, and then about a month before warranty expired one of the plastic buttons on the side just broke off when I pressed it to wake the phone up.

No problem I thought, I’ll just arrange for a warranty replacement - but when I messaged them about it through their eBay store, I was told that they couldn’t replace it as the warranty doesn’t cover accidental damage. I’ve no idea why they classed it as accidental damage as it doesn’t get more ‘normal use’ then pressing a button, but no matter how nice I was about it and asked them to just replace it under warranty they wouldn’t budge. Needless to say I won’t ever buy from them again, pretty disappointing.

Anyway, hopefully you’ll never need the warranty, but if you do then good luck getting them to honour it.

    • Unlucky, they aren't designed to last forever I guess and relatively cheap. Could have got on the chat with eBay.. Usually a waste of time though, not good customer service like Amazon. You could always go apple store and get one, probably all one yea warranty only.

  • same price for cases on their ebay store. i have 2 ebay plus accounts now, with 2 $5 off vouchers in each. works out cheaper that way for me.

  • Anyone know why the discount doesn't work with this case? I thought it was store wide…

  • Shipping has been extremely slow with these guys. Spigen's a great brand but I wouldn't recommend buying from Pro Gadgets unless you're willing to pay more for expedited shipping.

    • Correct. My order if it comes next week will be 3 weeks wait time

    • Has yours been shipped?
I ordered mine on the Friday (two screen protectors and two cases), got shipping tracking/lodgement on the Monday and delivered by AusPost on the following Monday.
Took till Thurs to get to Melb airport according to the tracking, then Fri in Syd and out for shipping after the weekend.

    • Pro gadgets eBay is the go

      • ? How so? They're the same company.

        • +1

ebay plus way faster shipping and usually a $5 voucher
Was also cheap despite the 20% off.

  • Yes it has been shipped but got an email saying it was delayed. I'm assuming it is stuck in processing somewhere
