Hey all! Back with another Bonus for you to round out this Black Friday/Cyber Weekend, hope you've been getting some banger prices this saving season! This one is for anyone wanting grab a last minute Cyber Monday deal from Amazon. As always, read below carefully and pop any unanswered q's below and I'll get back to you later today.

How to Claim:

  • Next you'll need to create an account/sign-up if you're a new customer.

  • The '$ to go' amount that appears when you start the challenge is the pre GST amount.

  • The $5 bonus cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you receive for shopping at Amazon Australia through ShopBack.
  • The $5 bonus will be added to your account once your regular cashback turns Confirmed.

      I had to go to 'see all' from brand challenges and then on the next page scroll all the way to almost the bottom in the 'even more challenges' section to find it

  • I pressed start on the app and it says "congrats you're in. I then I proceeded to purchase an item over $50, but when I go back into the app, it still says $45.45 to go?
    Did I do something wrong or does it take a bit to update. I purchased an item that was on special from the "black friday deal" which has the read highlighted tag with it

    Why it's it so damn hard to find these perks to activate

    • Yeah, I have to say the iOS app is trash. Far too cluttered and confusing to navigate to find the activation for this.

  • Is there any way to confirm what category something is listed in?
    I've been screwed over before with some garden tools getting listed as hardware or something like that

    • It is all categories, even those with 0% cashback for the $5 if that is all the cashback you are after.

      Easiest way to check categories is on desktop version of website

    gamify cashback is dumb. i tried the last blackfriday, and did not get cash back because i need to make sure i have cashback from another transaction? Too hard, never again. Back to Cashrewards for good, dummy proof

    Anyone else get this showing on the Shopback icon when visiting Amazon website this morning?

    ShopBack currently doesn’t offer Cashback from this store, but we'll inform you when prices drop, so you save more when you buy.

    Says that but then still says 7%.

    • Someone please help? Am I just supposed to click through from the ShopBack website and the tracking should be fine?

      Normally I use the browser add-on but that doesn't seem to work on Amazon today?

        Hey mate, sorry for the confusion, Amazon are still active in the extension but run a little bit different to other brands, I definitely recommend just clicking through from our website vis the "Shop Now" link. If you're still having trouble, let me know!

  • @gotyourback - can you please confirm if $5 Bonus on $50 spend is eligible with the use of payment with Gift Cards? It normally would say - eligible or ineligible with gift card payments. Just not very clear thanks!

    • Cashback isn't eligible on any Gift Card purchases on the Amazon website per their terms:

      Cashback is ineligible for Prime membership subscription purchases, Gift Cards, Kindle Unlimited, Mobile Apps, Audible, Echo Accessories, Kindle Accessories

      Categories that are listed at 0% are fine for use for the bonus, but if they're not listed as a 0% category, they're unlikely to track.

It says Congratulations you’re in in the slot and showed me $45.45 to go for the purchase i made around $51 of single purchase with multiple items on mazon around 6hours ago but still now its showing me same amount for the purchase? I clicked “shop now” from Shopback and made the purchases but haven’t received any email from shopback. Did I missed any step?

  • sorry, if this has been asked already- once you join the challenge in the app, do you have to purchase through the app or you can use purchase through amazon on computer browser.

          • @mozzieD: Hey mate, has the order you made tracked as yet? Challenges can take up to 2 days to update after tracking also, so could just be one of those two things, but if the order doesn't track/the challenge status doesn't update after a few days, shoot me a DM and I'll take a look.

  • Does anyone know for 0% cashback categories, should the purchase initially track with $0 cashback pending amount or "Calculating"?

    • Usually comes through as Calculating at first mate, should stay like that until the redemption period gets a bit closer.

    • Hey mate, have you had a look in both the Earn More > Ongoing or Earn More > History sections of the app? It may just be that they've moved there after you made your purchase. Let me know!

  • Anyone's tracked yet?

    • Hah, not sure… It was a busy weekend and I’m a bit fuzzy now on what I ordered via Shopback vs Cashrewards, but there are a couple of Amazon entries on 28/11 in my Shopback app: one says Pending and the other has an amount higher than $5, but neither mentions ‘Challenge - Bonus Cashback’ like an earlier one did (that was for a GC).

      Also, for an unrelated purchase on Nespresso, weirdly it lists a separate entry (2c each) for each individual capsule (not a single figure for the total transaction value), which has really cluttered up my cashback history. So if I ordered 100 capsules, there are 100 entries—lots to scroll through! Not sure if that’s normal for this retailer.

      Hey mate, just as a reminder from the post body:

      The Bonus will be credited to your account once your order moves from 'Pending' to 'Approved'.
      This means that the Bonus will not be visible under your 'Lifetime Earnings' until the order moves to 'Approved'.

      This won't have tracked yet because the original Cashback won't have been approved as yet, so keep an eye out for that then, check the challenge status in the app, it should be listed as "Reward Pending" for you mate.
