  So I choose some things I need, add to cart and enter the code. The shipping cost is not there. I do a bit of work filling details including the now expired 'I'm not a robot' widget then check all my detail, look for the absent PayPal option and see the price is different. Shipping is back.

    I just ordered - the 10% discount includes the $8.99 amount for the standard shipping in the calculations. Look at the total value of your cart, take 10% and add $8.99 shipping (if under $99) and it should equal the discounted amount.

      Thanks, I Know how to calculate and worked out how to enter the BF code. The price changed upwards while I was checking details and clicking the silly 'I'm not a robot' box. Only the coupon and gift certificate code boxes were available. The BF code was gone. Neither coupon code nor gift certificated accepts a Black Friday code.

      Either I am missing seeing it or it is a programming oversight. If it's not me, hopefully the OP will have the website repaired for next Black Friday.

      Maybe the OP will also have the mandatory fields reviewed in light of all the recent hacks and improve security a little by changing logon to a logon name rather than email address, which 'pushes me' to use a disposable email address.

      Meanwhile I give up. My loss, I know.

        Worked fine for me , but I only had a couple of items. Maybe they charge shipping over a certain weight regardless ?

          @ozblogger: Thanks but that wasn't the problem it was website design. I know how to work around it - clear cache, delete cookies and do it again. The message is there for the OP to decide whether or not to refer to the the website designer.
