Are you supposed to wear these with socks? I'm looking for some hiking shoes for an Uluru trip, not sure if these are what I need?

These have vibram soles so you will be safe from three cornered jacks ( bindis on steroids).
But depends on how much you go off track.
I worked in central Australia for a year and would wear boots when I went into the bush.
That said these would be fine to walk around the base of Uluru, resort and general travel.
Looks like size 13 is only $87 one now.
Are they similar to Australian sizes?
