      From a review:

      Needed a scan tool, but didn't need every function in the world. This little device was able to show the code of a fault, which I looked up online. Now I know the problem. It was able to clear some other codes too. Will be very handy in the glove box for future issues.

      Note that for iPhones you need Wifi version of the dongle. Bluetooth ones will not work with iOS

          IOS has no SPP bluetooth profile for serial comms

      I would be surprised if this clears codes, especially on VAG cars.
