If you Register your pen between July 1st -31st You also get a free years upgrade to Evernote Premium which i think is $45US. So you can count that into your bargain too :P

  • I have colleagues that have such devices.

Seems useful to transfer all writing to digital and voice record as well (so you actually have a record of people saying what.

The only part I don’t like it you have to use the special grid paper.

    • ah, that was going to be my question, as to whether it required special paper or not. thanks for preempting!

        4 x A4 80 sheet pads is $40.

Whilst this product does offer special functionality, and it can be argued that the time saving justifies the cost, I hate getting locked into a product then get constantly reamed by the company for consumables that cost so little to make.

        Ozbargain genes win out.

    • Thanks :)

    • You know that the software allows you to print your own grid paper - on plain A4 sheets - if you don't want to buy the proprietary notebooks?

  • You think Apple will price match?

    • not for a 24hr special

Helpful info on the product here (inc. Print Your Own Dot Paper).

  • Just bought, been looking or a while, good price.

  • Can you print the dot paper at Officeworks or something? Their laser printers must be high res.

  • got the link last night - but it took me back to the main catch screen..looks like a nice tool for meetings..

  • Anyone know how long the ink lasts? Also where to but more ink cartridges. I've googled but they all say designed for the Pulse… Anyone know if they're compatible?

  • sold out. Best price I could find on Amazon was $113. Good deal.

  • I retract my statement. I don't think they are sold out if you click the link above. If you go to the site normally it won't appear.

  • Just grabbed one. I've been considering getting one for a long time for work. Cheers OP.

    • And if you are planning to use it for work like I do, keep in mind that you should be able to claim this as work expense for tax purposes.

Anybody used this in an exam?? would be good to keep a soft copy of what you wrote on your paper

    • You wouldn't be able to unless your exam paper is on dot paper too….

    • Aside from the restrictions on electronic recording devices in exams, the paper has to be the special dotted watermarked paper to record what you are writing. So, I don't think that would work.

  • Bought.

I've been thinking about getting one of these for ages. I find ozbargain is good for pushing me over the edge on these things. I struggle to think of a purchase I've regretted making, but there are several I regret not jumping on.

    Retail Therapy ftw.

    • Was contemplating but Amazon says the 2GB doesn't have the rubber bottom half…whereas 4GB and above has it.

      • COTD lists "Rubberized grip" as one of the features. Also, the chart in Amazon says that the 2GB version has only 1 cartridge, but COTD says there are 2 cartridges in this package. Maybe a different release of the same product?

        • Thanks, that's moved me closer to buying… :D

        • My pen has just arrived. It looks great but it doesn't have the rubberised grip. Sorry cap_n (COTD, you've done it again). There are 2 cartridges though, one on the pen and one spare.

  • No free shipping?

    • Unfortunately not.
I grabbed one. The Minister for Fun and Finance is having a birthday soon, so what better present for a workaholic who loves pens ?

  • I was think about it all night and decided to grab it this morning…

I got 10% off as I had started the order and then stop

I think the coupon code is 10OFFApplied

Let me know if it works

    • Strange that it says 24hr special but the countdown timer shows more than 24hrs…

Thanks for the code, will try it.

      • Somehow there is nowhere to input the code. :(

  • lol bought a bike, bought a pen this week.. thank goodness i am SAVING money.. ozbargain has cost me a fortune!!! (the 10OFFApplied worked.. thanks! Hope the cartridges arent expensive?!)

  • My order status remains in "Payment received". Is COTD always this slow?

    • So does mine, but I think they are usually pretty slow. I was hoping to get it before my next series of lectures on 26 July. Here's hoping.

  • Just received mine today from auspost. All good.
