Bit of an average month for Xbox Games with Gold for December 2022.
Only two games now since Xbox 360 titles are no longer included.

Agreed. Don't even know who would bother with Xbox Gold when XGP is available.
Except if they get rid of Xbox Gold, the $1 upgrade to Game Pass wouldn't work anymore would it…
The $1 GamePass upgrade only works a couple of times. After that, Microsoft will charge you full conversion price.
I guess the idea is to stock up 36 months worth of Xbox Gold, then convert it. You are covered for 3 years.
This is what they want. They want Gold to be rubbish so you move over to game pass. It started when they stopped making the games playable without a sub with the xbox one, and now with no 360 games anyone who starts collecting now is locked out of all their games unless they are active. Sad.
I think I am going to stick it to MS altogether and just play my backlog. I have about 120 games at least and probably played 5 of them, playing through 3 entirely.
Have been considering whether I should get a one x or an oculous, and I have to say the oculous is looking more and more tempting

That's OZB spirit? I know people protested when Microsoft tried to raise the price of XBox Live Gold (so lousy free games is another way to reduce cost).
I want at least 1 first party game a month for Game with Gold.
Why not just cancel it and use the saved money to license additional XGP games.
Who doesn't have XGP at this point?
Because
1) It used to be better free games + GamePass for GamePass Ultimate.
2) If I don't have time to play a lot of games, I want to have a cheap option to play games I own online and/or play games I collected previously.
GamePass does NOT give you online play, you need GamePass Ultimate. GamePass does not let you play XBox Live Gold games collected previously, once again, you need Ultimate. And, the OZB reason:
3) Take advantage of $1/month GamePass Ultimate 3 to 4 times a year is an even better bargain. Microsoft have those around Christmas and every time a major new first party game is released so you don't miss out much.
@netsurfer: Wow, didn't know you couldn't play online with just game pass. Peertty much agree on all counts, and I don't even play online
Sony giving us Mass Effect trilogy and Biomutant while Microsoft gives us this rubbish to go along with last month’s rubbish
As great as Game Pass is I’d still rather own the games as there’s no rush to play them.
And don’t get me started on why they release the games at different dates instead of just dumping them all in one go like Sony. I always end up forgetting to claim the second one

I'd rather they just stopped this personally. They are hardly worth bothering to remember to check now.
