Great idea - buy crypto with a cc to earn points only to end up with crypto that becomes worthless.

No way…stable coins never fail ;)

      • tell this to UST holders..

  • Normally cash advance doesn’t count towards bonus spend. You should try and report back

  • Buy speculative vapour investments to make a few cents on bonus card points? Clever.

  • That party has long finished lmao.

I took out personal loans to buy ETH 7 years ago. Just finished paying off the personal. We all know what happened with the price of ETH. :P

    • never gamble using loan money.

    • Sheesh that's rough

      • Should have taken out a bigger loan lmao. Have you seen the price of ETH at the moment?

      • I'm pretty sure I've made more off that personal loan than anyone in property in a comparable timeframe.

Clearly you didn't or you wouldn't be 'finally' paying off a loan after SEVEN years. You'd have paid back the principal and been done if you actually made money.

          • @beyonddd: My interest rate for that loan was 10.99% fixed rate for SEVEN years. If I paid it off early, I would have to pay a penalty, why would I pay it off early, when I have made soo much more from ETH?

I took the loan money and bought ETH and held it. I used my salary to make the loan repayments. Why would I want to pay it off early when I've made so much gains from it? I just held it to maturity.

I got a little bit over 1500 ETH at just over $10 USD with this loan. You can do the maths on how much I gained. I'm very very sure I beat out any property investor who purchased property SEVEN years ago.
