    Spec's (Wasn't so hard OP)

It's IPS, has FreeSync, and refresh rate is… apparently not that important so not listed.

  • should i wait for the one from dell with type C?

      Dell is much better

      • Dell is good for gaming?

      • Dell isn't much better, but this monitor is old.

I've got this monitor and Ozbargain popular Dell monitor on side by side set-up. I prefer LG for colour accuracy. Dell one is too reddish in some areas and a tad more saturated too. LG definitely has better (more accurate) colours. However Dell has slightly better contrast and brightness. I like both monitors for different reasons (LG for colours, Dell for contrast).

      • The brightness is only 300nit, that’s why I think I should wait for Dell

    Almost four year old model.

Worth mentioning that the HDR here isn't really proper HDR. It can process an HDR signal, but the hardware isn't there to properly display it.

Also worth mentioning this is the case with most if not all cheap HDR monitors.

Single one of these vs 2 x24" fhd monitors for a home office setup?

  • I'm not a Costco member (and none within hundreds of km) so would be nice if someone else matched. This seems like a reasonable deal.

  • Anything cheap that says HDR, isn't.

It's not "good" for casual gaming. It's just about bottom of the barrel for a 4k monitor. Anyone that doesn't have the budget to buy a good one wouldn't have a good graphics card, so shouldn't be trying to game in 4k anyway, and would be far better served by a 1080p monitor at this pricepoint that might actually have legs

4k is also almost functionally useless for office work, everythings too small at 27", and windows "scale up" tech isn't great.

    • would be far better served by a 1080p monitor

QHD for 27" is sweet spot IMHO.

1440p is the sweet spot. There's no functional difference to 4k in terms of discernible resolution but there sure will be in frame rate from your graphics card.
