      it doesnt really make a difference unless you intend to take the HDD out and put into your laptop, the transfer speed through USB 2.0 does not exceed IDE.

      That what I did yesterday. Have OW pricematch TGG with 5% off for the blue WD Passport. No question asked. Told my friends and they going to get some today :)
