Would your child love a letter from Santa this Christmas?

    No

  • Sydney Buyer's Agent

  • Hope it is not being sent by Aust Post. No chance of arriving in time for Xmas if so. (Customer waiting for an item from Sydney for the past 2 weeks)

Why does santa need your email address and mobile number???

    Sounds dodgy to me…

    Dear Child,
    Ho ho ho!
Have you been good this year? No? have you been stressing out your parents? Are they under mortgage stress? Well good news! This Christmas Santa’s little helper will help your parents find a new house in a less affluent suburb. We can acquire a property 3-4 weeks before it comes on market, so you can move* to your new shack before Christmas!
    Meeeerry Christmas
    Ho ho ho
*relocation may be delayed if your parents cannot afford a relocating company.
*we have already listed your property for sale

Why would someone fall for this, provide their details (including email and phone) to perhaps get a letter from Santa to a child.
Couldn't I just write the letter myself (with much more personalisation and expectation setting etc.), address it to my child, and drop it in my own letterbox?

You mean lie to your kids? Why would you do that? You monster.

You don't know what I would write. Perhaps the truth

    • Ya I agree .. There are squillions of "Santa's Letter" templates online you can download for free and personalise.
Provided you have a computer, printer, ink/toner, electricity, working internet connection etc 😅

      • Paper and pen?
TBH, if you need a template, what sort of parent are you?

What is this paper and pen? What are we some ancient civilisation?

          /s

          • @xoom: Older than Santa is

        • A parent with handwriting as good as my 5 year old

          • @SueyJitSu: So what?
I happen to know that Santa failed his pen license.

            • @GG57: I think you're tellin porkies.
Every time I've seen his naughty & nice list … its written in a majestic format that I could not reproduce.

              • @SueyJitSu: I just to want get santa's naughty list. Might pay them a visit if you catch my drift. 😉

          • @SueyJitSu: I seen doctors handwriting worst than a 5 year old.

    Shady as.

How is it shady when they tell you they'll use your data in ways even they don't anticipate and haven't disclosed.

The picture of Santa about to put a letter in the letterbox looks creepy as hell.
He has that pedo look happening.

I'll give you this, it's probably one of the more creative data harvesting approaches I've seen. A bit iffy bringing kids and Santa into it though…
