    Was at Arrivederci next door a couple of Thursdays ago for the missus' birthday dinner with her family. Arrivederci was packed while I didn't see one person go into this place which looked a bit sad. This promo will definitely drum up interest in their place, hopefully it works out for them!

    I went to this place very recently and even for $1 I wouldn’t go back. They hardly have any options, the steaks that we ordered on a quiet night were blue rare after ordering medium rare, and even after returning the plate, it was still rare. The salad is just generic store bought salad, and the chips are the size of around half a Maccas small chips. To top it off it’s a small venue and they won’t have the seats to accommodate. Also - what are the terms and conditions? Must buy a drink? Minimum spend $10? I’d beware - there will be a catch!

        Wasn't expecting too much after reading your comment + by virtue of the fact that it was only $1 but the meal was surprisingly decent and we enjoyed our steaks the only correct way: medium rare!

      Wow, that's insane, I tend to go to these things about half an hour earlier if I can to make sure I don't need to wait as long but I know that might not be an option for everybody. All the best with your future bargain-hunting wait times though!

    I was there during lunchtime today.
    It was packed.
    I waited for 50 mins before I got the steak in front of me.
    The steak was tender, yes, but I don't think it's 250g as advertised.
    Also, the chips were cold and soggy and small portion-wise (less than HJ's small chips).
    Customer service was quite good, but you come there for the food, right?
    Verdict: quite allright for $1 but certainly not for full price.
    I left still feeling hungry.

      I second all that! Cept for the wait time and the chips. Wait time was decent since we got in early and chips were fresh and crisp but yeah, portion sizes overall were a bit on the small side.
