i think yours is full frame and old model. the one posted is brand new released apsc sony emount.

If it were APS-C it would be designated DC, not DG.
Doesn’t say APS-C anywhere I can see for OP’s post.

          ebay listing says full frame
aps-c 16mm version was around $450 when i got one many years ago in an ebay promo

          • @mantra: DG means it's for full frame bodies. DN means it's for mirrorless cameras

        • my bad, it is full frame.
1, i went to the official website and checked on spec, it doesn't say full frame or apsc
2, then i went to youtube, the first video the guy was testing it on an apsc camera a6400
so i assumed it is apsc also given the size and price.

i only owned like 1 sigma lens ever, DG DN, but i do feel like i was wrong, and yep i was.

          • @Hornpub: FF lenses work on a crop sensor, not the other way. I have always bought FF lenses even when I had APC-C body, it give you a room to move to FF and not have to change all the lenses

    • Can!

Good price for this lens and well balanced with FF body.

My wife think it's length is long and too heavy to use on an A6000 so passed for now.

    • Sigma lenses are heavy, full metal body. If you want 24mm focal length in prime, I don't think there's a smaller and lighter option from any brand.

Her favourite was the GX85 with the summilux 15mn 1.7. Few years back her camera decided to celebrate Sydney to Hobart by jumping into Derwent Estuary…

Ladies always look for gear that is light and small, so not surprise this is not for her. Lucky we still have a Fuji body sitting at home so she pull the trigger on the 23 1.4, which I think is a better lens…

Great price for a very new lens, almost half the GM lens when that is only sale!

just bought! can't wait ! anyone know if 20mm is worth getting too?

    • For gimbal, I think it's worth it. If you want more versatile lens, 14-24 2.8 is way to go

      • thanks OP - yeah was looking at a zoom next 12-24GM vs 14-24 sigma vs 17 - 28 tamron lol

        • I think it all depends on budget and use case lol

I don't think I'd ever buy that focal length in a zoom lens, I don't know how know what to do with it lol

For ASTRO, I am using Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 DXII
