    Not many big discounts as late for Sony bodies, will be nice to see a 20% off Digidirect sale with updated reduced prices on there ebay listings..

      Canon R mount is a total rip off these days, not sure why anyone would bother. No third party lenses and very steep Canon genuine lens prices. Many lenses are even worse than sony counterpatrs (bigger, slower AF and worse optically) such as the 50mm 1.2 yet are more expensive. Canon is really being greedy. Sony is also being greedy but with their body prices. The A1ii price i ridiculous

        I recently got a R8 for $1700 to upgrade from my aging 6D, it is awesome as I got old EF lenses, EF to RF adapter was $160 and I even tried that with my old M42 lenses (M42 to EF) like Helios 44. Only RF lens I have is 28mm f2.8, which is great for the price, I got it for $397. You can get a lot of great EF lenses and there are some interesting RF lenses like 600mm and 800mm f11, bit weird to have a f11 lens, but I have seen some are using them for birding as they are like $900 in used market and weighs a lot less.

          If you have ef lenses then certainly the canon r makes sense as you can't get the same adopted at performance on Sony cameras. However if someone has no older lenses, the canon RF systems just seems expensive and limited compared to Sony and even now Nikon

    Camera House ebay has some Sony lens deals like: 85mm f1.8, 24mm 1.4 GM, 35mm f1.8.

    Just got 85mm 1.8, so after $50 gift card it is less than $500.

    I don’t understand how it’s $3,000 on the Sony website but $2,200 +$150 cashback at Camera House.

    Digidirect has the 20-70mm f/4 for $1099. Minus $100 cashback is under $1k.
