PS handy tip sometimes you might notice a video colour shifting bug in chrome so go into chrome://flags and change the "color profile" to srgb!
awesome screen, great battery life, great portability
just the CPU .. little bit on the slow side but most people would probably be happy with the performance.
yep cpu is just decent, defs no M1! But good enough for most simple stuff, esp when paired with 8gb ram
Chromebooks are the netbooks of the 2020s.
This is extremely good, I used it heavily for studying (notion, obsidian, chrome, anki), and video entertainment (netflix, youtube, prime video). It can play some android game pretty smoothly as well (deadcells, stardew valley, terraria). The battery is awesome, last 3 days without charging with my usage. For heavier computing task, i use Remmina to access my virtual machine. It has linux built in so pretty much you can install any linux app.
I find this model pretty awkward to use as tablet because of the dimension but using it as laptop is awesome. The keyboard and touchpad are great.
Its a good device but I think this is the normal price for now. It was $547 last black friday

Does this come with a stylus/pen?
Afaik the AAU model includes a pen but the BAU doesn't.
I bought the Duet 3 with 8GB/128GB from a previous deal for $389 (something like that). Really good device. A little heavier for my liking though. My only complaint is that I cannot install Signal on it :(
apps that link to your phone number are very inconvenient.
suggest to use skype, google chat, messenger, instagram
When you have some of your friends, clubs chat groups on Signal, it is not easy to change over to other platforms.
I purchased one last week, damn they're good. Tablet is awkwardly wide, so portrait is pretty much useless. The best part, next to the battery life is that I returned under 'change of mind', the thing is brand new, and just repurchased it at the cheaper price.
Universe aligned again, not sure of the ethics though.
I think I have grabbed one of the last one available at $ 547. Lets see if they honour the deal.
Will JB price match this? checked the model is number is slightly different between the two stores.
