I have this one, highly recommend.

Works perfectly with my Legion 5 Pro to charge at work - even comes with type C to C 100W cable.

I can simultaneously charge laptop, phone and powerbank (because ofc you charge powerbanks at work instead of at home)

(because ofc you charge powerbanks at work instead of at home)

You have my vote for this

    • +3

okay, looks like I am not the only one charging powerbank at work

    • What does it cost to charge, say, a 10,000mAh powebank at 25c/kWh?

      • +3

        $0. Work pays.

      • To convert milliamp hours to kilowatt hours, multiply milliamp hours times volts then divide by 1,000,000. (Yep, 1 million.) so….. 0.25c I guess?

  • Is the reputation better because they're better or because people are less familiar?

    • +2

there are quite a few zyron deals already posted here in OzB, click on one and have a read on the comments and make your own judgment.

      • +3

and the rep also in australia and on this forum not like heymix not sure about that

        • +2

I had the HEYMIX 120W GaN Charger failed exactly after 1 year 1month and was told bad luck out of warranty hopefully this mob is better?

    • -1

HEYMIX doesn't sell a 156w one as far as I know, theirs are usually 45w limited with all ports filled; not 60w.

      This one does 60w + 60w + 18w + 18w or 100w + 0w + 18w + 18w

  • +4

Have 2 of these, recommend but note it renegotiates power rate when you plug in a second USB-PD device. On some laptops this results in a screen flash and/or for some docks a brief disconnect

    • +4

This renegotiation of the PD is part of the PD standard. It makes some sense from an engineering point of view, however it also means that multi output PD devices like this one are not suitable for some applications such as powering devices with no battery backup like Raspberry Pi computers.

      • but does it renegotiate on its own? i have an older blitzwolf and it will stop the first device charging if you plug in a second one. I have to replug the first one back in to start charging again

        • +1

Yes, its auto, mine continues charging once the negotiation has happened

        • +2

Renegotiates fine, but it does disconnect and reconnect. Some laptops switch power mode from this and you get a screen flash.

Some USB-C docks require power for the USB ports to work and you'll get ports not working for a second

      • Xiaomi ZMI QB826 works as a UPS in-between if needed

  • What so you compare this charger to the Baseus Gan3 100w charger?

    • +1

This one you can use all ports at 60w + 60w + 18w + 18w. Baseus one you can use 2 ports at 65w + 30w, isn't clear on other combos.

Essentially this one can charge two laptops at once, Baseus can't. Not much of a difference if you don't have a powerful powerbank (requiring 45-65w) or two laptops to charge, there's no difference charging 4 phones at once.

  • Bought one, I already have the Heymix one that is still working well.

  • Not one picture shows it but can I assume a phone or ipad while rest in either of the side slots ?

  • -4

Will this fast charge my Tesla?

    • Only the model PLAID

  • Would this be a good Christmas gift for an 18 yo Male?

  • Would a usb switch work with this, so i can swap my peripherals between work/home laptop?

    • No. This doesn't connect to laptop or PC at all. It is a charging brick.

      • thanks, i got too excited there

  • Can someone recommend something similar but with added powerbank?

  • Are there any USB-C hubs out there with multiple ports for data transfer…like 4-5 minimum?

So far have really only found the Satechi Aluminium 4 Port USB-C Hub.

  • I wouldn't recommend. I bought a different product from Zyron (now faulty), and support just ignores my emails.
Have had a better experience with Heymix personally.

    • If still within warranty and from Amazon, then you can try contact Amazon instead.

    • Please pm your order details with me and I can resolve it for you
