        Yum … dried cheese powder, like the "parmesan" powder shaker we had when I was a kid. :-(
        No problem with dried pasta of course, but if the filling doesn't need a fridge, I'm wary.

    “Goes well with bolognese sauce”: They are very salty and only suit a mild condimen, traditionally a broth. Nobody would it this in Italy in bolognese sauce, particularly in Bologna.

      IMO its one of the better shitty supermarket pastas :)
      In WA at Woolworths tho, we have "la molisana pastificio extra di lusso" and it shits over barilla in every way.

    3/4 of a cup of flour and 1 egg, thats what you knead for the best pasta.

      I just tried making the no egg pasta and the egg pasta and agree, nothing beat fresh pasta cooked in 1-2 min.
      The recipe called for:
      Eggs 5 x 60g
      Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
      Salt 1 teaspoon
      Plain flour 300g/ 2 cups
      Semolina 170g/ 1 cup

      Fresh pasta and durum wheat pasta are two different bases for two different meals. One isn't better than the other, apples, oranges.

    $2 at NQR but has short expiry date or already expired (still fine though, it's dried pasta).
