Anyone have experience with this and think its worth it for small DIY stuff?
Only have a wired drill at home which has been useful for small things

Perfectly fine for home DIY. At this price it’s a no brainer

I agree, I have a Rockwell one from a Super Cheap Auto special from a LONG time ago, I have had it over 3 years, batteries are still working okay.
Great for driving screws. The one I got was brushless and it also had a impact function.

Make that 5 years and batteries are still going strong.

I have the drill driver, it's sufficient for very small home projects. I wouldn't recommend it for a home renovation.

This kit is excellent. High quality drill

The Ryobi 18v kit Impact Driver literally produces twice as much torque, just FYI

      For $75?

      • +2

literally more than twice the price though

Some people just post stuff for the sake of posting.

        • The whole point of an Impact driver is that it produces high amounts of torque. This one produces 90nm, the Ryobi produces double that, and the Dewalts go beyond 200nm. I thought it was worth mentioning, as 90nm is not a whole lot of torque, regardless of how much you pay for it.

If there was ever a useless comment, I'd say it was probably more likely to be yours. I never said this wasn't a bargain, for those who can get their hands on it…well it might be exactly what they are looking for. However, there is a reason why the other brands are more expensive. You DO get a higher quality, more powerful tool.
