Cracking deal on this brushless cordless drill with two batteries and a case.
Won't compete with a Dewalt or Bosch for ease of use, but at this price its perfect for the home owner who only pulls it out for the odd job. Reviews are good

  • Reviews are good ? but bad reviews from past postings.

    • Haven't seen any bad reviews

  • +1

For those not interested in reading through all the personal views the drill is quite good for the price.

  • also $5 credit for club members for tonight only

  • Would have been more awesome if it was 1 X 3Ah instead of 2 X 1.5Ah. Would have been a cheap way if getting a second battery for Rockwell impact wrench.

  • I've got one of these and for $50, it's great value.

The only problem I've found is that the chuck always loosens when removing screws or backing out a drill bit, causing the bit to fall out of the drill.

    • Could it be either that you aren't tightening it enough or that you have a faulty chuck?

  • Thanks for the tape measure trick, <$50 delivered is solid!

  • oh bugger, got one last night when it dropped to $67.90 delivered! I checked again today and saw the club price, I am not a member.ouch. I feel they are trying to dump this product for some reason. it's cheap as their nicad one.

    • Bought it about 11pm last night before they posted the club price. Pulled the trigger too quick it seems.

This was a 2nd purchase of the same drill for my dad because I bought one for $67.90 about two weeks ago when on special. I thought it was very good.
Though the warranty is not as good as Ozito. THis one is 6 months on battery and 2yrs on the drill. I think Ozito is 3yrs on battery and 5yrs the drill.
But for $48 or $67 I think for that matter it is a good deal still. Buying two batteries costs for than the whole set!

Not going to get a third though, though price is tempting.

Just FYI, the batteries are 1500mAh Samsung Batteries.

It comes with a case. Also I believe it is hammer drill, on the dial setting it shows a picture of a hammer, though they reference it as a impact drill.
I feel the manual is a bit chinglish, I think they use the word impact but the should of used the word hammer. Sorry I have not tried drilling into masonary.
But manual does say you can drill masonary.

Definitely not Impact in the sense of the use they mean for impact driver. That it is not.

      It looks a lot like this one;

  • I'm going to buy a gift card for SCA at 5% discount to pay with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/347684

  • I am not experience with Club prices, how long does this price last?

    • Gone now it seems. 1 day.

Seems I bought it 10 minutes too early the other day.

  • Honestly how does this not make the front page. Was specifically watching for this and still missed it.

Is there any way to have the site notify me if this is posted again?

Also does anyone know how this ogot down to 48? It was up around 97, now down to 67, how did it down to 48? I am guessing somehow there was a stacking of discounts but not sure.
