        I am using an LG 42 inch LED TV right now on my PC and the picture is GREAT, perfect even on text and it is hooked up via RGB analogue.

        Not as good as my Dell Ultrasharp but close enough for the size.

          My current 42inch LG is breaking down, prob 5 years old. Think it was only 720p so any of these new 1080p tvs will prob be awesome to me.

        No. Couldn't be bothered really. The tv is used primarily to watch dvds. Don't have the same problems with other tvs around the house if it was the reception/antenna. Then again, it may be just that particular antenna point that is faulty so that it picks up every other channel other than channel 10 and equivalent.

      Probably pretty bloody good. My computer and my G27 gear gets moved into the loungeroom so i can use it with my 3yo Samsung 40" TV whenever my missus goes visiting her rellies. Its HEAPS better than using a 22" monitor.

        Yea size wise it would be better than the 27" monitor i am using. Im thinking colour and frame rate. If anyone has any experience with heavy gaming on this model or a similar one?

          Size doesn't matter unlike other things ;)
          What really matters is how far you sit back from the monitor while gaming. I use my computer monitor which is 22" through my xbox and I only get about 20" of true screen space but since I am sitting directly in front of the monitor it is sufficiently large.

    i bought one this arvo and hooked it up tonight. it's good. nothing wrong with it so far. has a great user interface, not slow at all.

    fyi: My local Big W had 30 this morning, then 16 left at lunch and then 13 left at around 5pm.
