Finally decided to join in the party and write up my 1st post….wohooo.

Whilst not the best of deals, since KFC has ended its Free Chips n Drink upon survey (hopefully its not permanently), new app users get $6 relief but the hoop is you'll have to wait for 7 days before you'll get the email with the offer. I received it on my account with new email but old phone number, but YMMV.

T&Cs from the email:

"Thas right, $6 off … but only on orders made through the KFC App, and only for you.

Offer valid for 7 days, minimum spend $10, one time use only."

      @impoze - cannot be stacked with survey as the redemption is via app only. Also, last checked yesterday, KFC isn't printing out the survey codes on receipts. Not sure if its just my store or all of NSW/AUS. Probably due to chips shortage but I hope it comes back ASAP.

        just checked with KFC via facebook and they said that the free chips and drink doing the survey is alive and well and not going to be discontinued…(as far as they had heard)

        I order on the app, go to counter with my previous completed survey and ask them to add it to my order. Then ask for the receipt for order I just placed. It is usually already printed out from one of the register connected to online orders, so they just look for it with my name.

        I've done this probably 10 or so times in the past 6 months. I always keep a completed receipt in my wallet in case I go to KFC.

    Since when?! Seems to still be active and says the conditions. Just used it a couple of days ago and got a receipt with it.

      @pennypincher98 and @impoze - ended as of 6pm Sunday 18th Dec 2022. First noticed this at George Street, Sydney as the receipts no longer print the survey. Not sure if its for all of NSW & Australia.

      Nope, no promo code needed but to likely prevent abuse, the $6 voucher is added onto your account after 7 days…ik it can be a dealbreaker

      @Square89 - I signed up at the same time once again when I wrote this post. I got another email with $6 off a couple of days ago. Did you use a new email / phone number when signing up? You might also need to set a pickup location / nearest KFC store in the app.

      Happy to hear feedback if you're still not getting the newbie offer

      Is there any chance you've made an order in the first 7 days after signing up?

      Since the $6 off is for newbies, I believe you shouldn't make a purchase on your new account until you get the promo.

      I should have said "either targeted or expired" - wouldn't be surprised if the $6 off voucher has just been downgraded by KFC to 25% off now for all new accounts.

        Interesting! They may have indeed downgraded the offer now. I don't think it was targeted earlier because I got $6 off on all my accounts.

            @knobbs: Yes, you're right. They're no longer offering $6 vouchers but now they run these targeted fortnightly offers - you'll find them posted on OZB every 2nd week.

    Meh, KFC isn't cheap anymore. A year and a half ago I could get a zinger box for $12.45, they are now $14.95 at my store. That is roughly a 28% increase in 18 months. Prixe gouging at its finest.
