          You don’t have to use a Bolt receiver. I connect to both my work laptop and MacBook via Bluetooth. Works flawlessly

      Really? Would have thought the keychron mech would have wiped the floor with the mx keys? Any issues? I was looking at the c2 keychron.

        I’ve got a K4. The typing feeling is ok, the overall lack of polish lets it down. Its Bluetooth is flaky, and the keyboard is very high and hard to type without a palm rest for long periods of time. Also not great for typing notes whilst in video meetings. Way too loud.

      I’m actually the opposite! Have the MX Keys and got the Keychron K8 pro recently and it’s night and day for me in favour of the Keychron. Much prefer the typing experience and fortunately haven’t had any Bluetooth issues, and battery life has been really good (with RGB turned off)

    Great keyboard. Got one for Mrs during lockdown WFH as she's a key basher and this was the most quiet option. Paid $180 iirc :(

    Try to get the business edition for this keyboard which works with the Bolt receiver. I couldn't find a good deal on those so got the MX Keys Mechanical instead.

        Forced obsolescence as far as I can tell.

        No reason they couldn't make devices compatible with both Bolt & Unifying, and no new features that I'm aware of.

        Future proofing for one. Not 100% sure of any other benefits. Logitech themselves claim it's more secure, connects more devices and faster.

        ONLY if the mouse is compatible with paired switching though - I think the MX Masters do, but my M325's certainly don't.
