        I didn't like Open Camera very much (for video), Pro Shot is turning out to be much better, not a bad app at all.

          How do you set video to HEVC 4k@60p at 150Mbps in ProShot? I can't even work out how to get to the video config page!

    Great. Thanks.

    But I get "Error opening camera: 4" and then a black screen.

    Tried the fixes at https://www.99images.com/apps/ios-photo-video/924438909/prob… with no luck.

    I immediately jumped and downloaded it bec I assumed it is going to have a "pause" feature. It doesn't :(
    I have been an Android user for 13 years and just switched to iphone. It is absolutely insane that you can not pause while video recording!!!!!

      Then give OpenCamera a go, found it better than ProShot, but not quite on par with Filmic Pro ;)

        Only recently bought the phone and haven't used it much at all. I don't take a lot of photos, but when I do I would like them to be as good as possible. Just thought as the app was free I'd give it a whirl. I'm heading off for a holiday next month and would like to experiment before the trip.

          All good mate.

          The default camera app is great for most people I reckon, but by all means try the other apps.

          OpenCamera isn't bad either. Used it before on my old Xperia phone.

        Native camera app is clunky for video and video bitrate tops out at 50Mbps for 4k@60p!

        OpenCamera allows bitrates beyond 200Mbps with HEVC @ 4k60p ;)
