Great mouse, also swapped it with Basilisk because of some connectivity issues even after firmware update and I'm not a fan of rubber sides. Uses AA or AAA battery which is a plus for me with all the Eneloops in the house.
Underrated mouse, been using it for a few months now. Only con is the build quality leaves something to be desired. The removable magnetic top shell is easy to remove but it fits somewhat loosely as sometimes you can feel it move side to side as you press and move the mouse. There needs to be more high quality removable battery mice, it's the only true option for no cable, wireless mice.
Yep, I noticed the same issue, the top shell is held by magnets which aren't strong, you can feel it move slightly, it's kinda off putting and because the main clicks are connected to a single shell piece, it happens often.
This also like other razor mice, doesn't like voltages below 1.15v so NiMh don't last as long and you don't get warning flashes with lithium AA/AAA rechargeables which step down to 1.1v when the battery is low. G305 handles lower voltages better and has no issues.
Great price. Went for this instead of the pro due to the user replaceable batteries. I prefer to swap out rather than have to wait for a charge at the wrong time.
