Wondering where the "Waiting for 100 port 10GB switches for this price"?

    • +1

Will this work with Switch? 😂

  • Is the LS1008G worth it or is there a better deal for an 8 port somewhere?

    • +6

It's also 45% off so I bought the 8port version for an extra $5ish

    • depends on a use case
for this price, in my case it will be used as extender / splitter for 2 network devices and thats it…

would be nice to get POE version at the similar price point :)

    Is today networking deal day?

  • Thanks grabbed one

  • damn, got the D-Link DGS-1005A-AUD not too long ago for 20$

  • +2

$16.69 on Amazon Prime Membership for me now. It seems like already Ozbargained.

  • +1

It's 100Mbps not 1000Mbps as per product description.

    • +3

Think it's redirecting because the one in the deal has sold out.

      • You're right…I didn't notice the missing G.

    • +2

get the one with the "G" in the model number.
      only 8port left now

  • I have the older Google WiFi. Can I plug something like this (a switch) into one I am using as a WiFi extender in the mesh network to connect devices. TIA

    • +1

      Yep

Got an 8 port for a few bucks more.

    • My shopping cart is still a few bucks over budget lol.
Waiting til boxing day to see if anything will come down a tiny little bit.

I had the mercusys 8-port for $26 but replaced it with the $18 8-port version of this deal (an unmanaged switch is an unmanaged switch or am i missing something)

  • How much throughput can these things really handle? If 2 and 2 devices want to transfer 2x1000MBps will it be able to deliver or it barely services one Gbps pair with that price?

  • I'm impressed that Amazon believes they can deliver this before Christmas

  • 8 port tp link here for $18.75 Deal of the day: TP-Link LiteWave 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch, Plastic Case, 0/100/1000Mbps, Networking Switch, tplink, tp link, Auto-Negotiation, RJ45 port, plug and play (LS1008G) https://amzn.asia/d/4Ci9OH3

  • I'm waiting for cheap 8, 12 or 16 port 2.5Gb switches… one day!
