Not a bad price considering it's 25% off. However, it is an IPS panel.

      It's Muzeeb, just sayin'

  • +11

It's been cheaper at $249 in the past. At this price, I would give it a big miss and wait for the Muzeeb's next giveaway.

I just bought the AW3421DW with an Aurora R12 (RTX 3080). Keen to see what it is capable of.

    but why

    • +1

the aurora r12 is capable of cooking itself and thats about it, if you need an omelette

    • I got it for a good price and correction it was the R13. I want to get back into PC gaming 🥲

  • "WRGB QD-OLED" when!?

This monitor is like 4 years old… its been $1500ish.. 2 years ago, how is this a deal ? Even with ibflation old tech..

    PTSD

  • Monitor is pretty good if you like the ultra wide aspect ratio but want a bit more vertical room

  • +4

Not only a bad deal, but a bad screen for the usual $1299, can get 42inch OLED's now for close to that

  • +1

When you've seen it for as low as $1391.28, $1874 is just too steep…

Edit: Sorry, got this confused with AW3423DW

  • Wow I got this for $1400 two years ago. Weird that tech gets more expensive with time.

  • +2

Had this monitor for a year, paid $1299.

Now switched over to C2 42” and zero regrets!

  • This (alienware) or LG's 38wn95c for $1530. I suspect they are the same panel 3840x1600 but LG has HDR600.

    • i'd take the AW3831DW, but not at this price.

  • +1

What's the problem with it being an IPS panel? I thought IPS panels had greater field of view and colour accuracy compared to other panels? Genuinely curious as it's been a while I've followed latest trends.

    • OLED vs IPS both have pros and cons. I bought the AW3421DW and it is an OLED so I will know what the main difference is when I get to use it.
Personally I am a huge fan of the OLEDs because I do my current PS5/XSX gaming on an LG C1 77" and I love it.

  • Noting wrong with IPS panels… just sayin
