Yamaha SR-C20A Compact Soundbar $159 Delivered @ Selby Acoustics

150

I’ve ordered one myself because it seems to have solid reviews, has Bluetooth, is compact and a decent brand. Only 60 units available.

Seems to beat every other price I could find.

Usually $240 - $320ish from some Googling.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2022

  • Ordered, thanks.
FYI Amazon is on board with the same price.

  • Thanks. Went to grab one of these yesterday. Lucky the Good Guys didn't have stock at my local. Saved $70.

    Same price on Amazon…
    Apparently there are 2 versions?

    SR-C20A (100W) and SR-C20AB (120W) ?

Amazon title says it's 20AB but in description it's 20A??

    • The product series is SRC-20A. B=Black, R=Red etc.
Based on the specs page, they are 100W:

      "SR-C20A (100W) and SR-C20AB (120W) ?"

I think you or Amazon are confusing the last few letters of the model number with 2 completely different models.

There is the SR-C20A/AB and the SR-B20A. Note the C and B in the middle of the model number.

According to bal2an's helpful link to specs above the C20A is 100w and the B20A is 120w.
Main difference I see is the C model only has one 3 inch woofer for the bass. The B model has two 3 inch woofers just like the more expensive full size YAS-109 model.

I have the SR C20A mounted above my computer setup as my PC speaker.

It is loud but it is not perfect for everything, eg I only use it for casual video watching and a bit of video conference work. I find for music it is lacking mid tones and base, it is still relatively clear for vocals in music but if it's complex sounds you might miss out on alot of detail.

I still use headphones for most music and games. It's just part of my compact office computer setup.
