    I absolutely loved until dawn - from my quick look at steam reviews (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1577120/The_Quarry/) it seems for people who liked until dawn this is a must play, with the only negative being many reviews saying the ending is the worst thing of all time. Haha.
    For $29 I'm gonna grab it and see - thanks OP :)

    Bought for the missus who also loved UD, she played a bit of Man of Medan and the second one they did after, and didn't hit. Finally pulled the trigger on this bc yesterday she heard from a friend who just did the same, that it was "so much more like Until Dawn, (profanity) all those other games they did"

  Ouch. Dealbreaker below.. Unless you specifically only want one set of endings you'll need cloud save on this game. Personally i don't have PSN so that's that.

  From steam review:
  "Game is beautiful, story is good, but….

  1. You CANNOT skip seen cutscenes which kills the replayability. Some parts are super boring, I literally fell asleep during a replay.
  2. You can do 'Chapter Select' to replay a past chapter ONLY ONCE only after you finished a game. The save will be overwritten. You have to replay the ENTIRE GAME again.
  3. Accidentally check on something that forces story progression? Sure you can recheck that corner of a room by STARTING A NEW GAME (and don't accidentally check on something again)
  4. Separate save files for 'Single Player', 'Movie Mode (online)', 'Couch CO-OP'. Just don't play with a friend because he/she will have to formally schedule a time to play with you.

  Basically bad game design. Worth only 1 playthrough because I'm sure as h you'd fall asleep starting from Chapter 1."

  Playing couch co-op atm with the mrs. It's okay. Until Dawn was better imo but this is still worth a play through.
