Refurbished by whom? And what exactly is refurbished? New battery? With genuine or aftermarket parts?

    • -3

Refurbished by the CCP. Using parts from China.

      • +1

Dont they all come from China?

      • -7

spyware also brought up to the lastest version

Do these Huawei phones have access to the Google Play Store?

I don't think new Huawei phones have been sold in Australia for quite a while. Does that mean that there is no aftersales service in Australia anymore in case I need a new battery?

      • Up to P30 hads access to Google store as previously mentioned in the comments below.

  • +1

Used. Second hand as same as buying from Gumtree.

    • on gumtree you can at least inspect it in person so this is worse lol

      • +1

Hi Mate, You can also come to our shop and check out the phones in person.

BTW, I like the grading. Never seen a shop where "A grade" is the second worst possible.

Can't recommend these when the new A73 is just $511.

    • +3

      You can't recommend a refurbished P20 or P20Pro at ~$200 because a new $500+ $599 phone is out?

      Very arbitrary/selective/wrong neg.

  • +1

P30 Lite hasn't had an Android update for nearly 18 months, and no VoLTE on Telstra.

    • The Huawei P30 Lite was certified by Google to receive Android 9 and 10 with Google Mobile Services (GMS). Android 11 came out after the US trade ban, so any certification for further Android updates with GMS from Google became impossible but Huawei P30 Lite is receiving EMUI 12.0.0.239 version with September 2022 security update. However, the update is in the early stage of rollout and brings security patches to improve your phone's performance.

      • Oh wow. Selective hearing here.

  • how much for a P20Pro on Gumtree?
They're pretty good for a kid's phone or just as a camera.

  • -3

I don't think these phones can use Google App store.

    • +4

P20's and P30's can still use Google Apps. It's from P40's

  • +7

Still have my P30 Pro and it still performs well after 3.5 years. Battery still goes pretty well. Just now starting to need a top up on heavy use days. Camera is very respectable.

Not sure if bargain, but this phone has been amazing.

    • +2

This was the bargain for brand new stock.

      • I don't understand why you posted that. The post you linked is 15 months old.

        • +9

          That's the point.

15 months ago , brand new stocks were sold at just over $400

15 months later , the same phone selling for $399 used.

          • +1

@dcep: Ah got you. I wasn't interested in buying, but it is a phone that really earned its keep.

        • +1

          maybe understand by this comparison:
          used 128GB $399
          brand new 256GB $439
          so this is NOT deal

          • @zuile: Alrighty, so where do I buy a brand new Huawei P30 Pro 256GB at that price these days?

            • @pizzaguy: you can't! so you buy a used/refurb unit at a higher price! :D

      • Isn't that upcycled?

        • Have checked with the store, confirmed brand new Australian stock.

I was skeptical too but then OP later confirmed as brand new stock and i missed out.

Forgot to buy 1st ask later.

  • Any way to unlock bootloader?
