Just picked up a set of these from Amazon, seems like a decent price for anyone who wants to run/work out and stay aware of and interact with their surroundings.

【Bud-free comfort】Unlike traditional wireless earphones, bone conduction headphones sit in front of your ears leaving them open. No worries about ''hot'' ears even running on the hottest days. 29g light weight makes them hardly noticeable.

【Open-ear safety】Whether you are running, cycling, sprinting or hiking, OpenRun Pro wireless sports headphones provides the safest way to listen to music or podcasts, without blocking out your surroundings.

They also have the mini available for people with smaller heads: https://www.amazon.com.au/Conduction-Headphones-Earphones-Bl…

  • Be curious to know what you think of them

Also same price in multiple stores such as officeworld and Harvey Norman

** edit: Actually looks like they have gone up in price elsewhere

      love them
they are good if u want to hear things around
I can be riding my bike with music up pretty loud and still hear a car approaching me from behind

I'd recommend the mini size if ur head is a normal size

u can normally try the headphones if u go to 99 bikes store, they have a set on display

      • Thanks

I have an older pair and was thinking of upgrading. Mine are fine but any loudness and it tickles my head!!!! Also mine are useless for receiving phone calls

Thinking these newer ones will be better sound and better all quality

      • Not the pro model unfortunately

Always been interested in these mainly because Eliud Kipchoge (world marathon record hodler) wears them and recommends them. Still a bit expensive though.

Can try a $5 pair from AliExpress first if you want to dip your toes in. From reviews, sound quality is slightly better on Shoks (though bone conduction won't have great audio) and better QC/warranty

Not sure about these but own a pair of opencomm. When using on teams on mute, it keeps beeping and cant even hear other people. Contacted support and they want you to purchase a dongle to solve that beeping.

  • Tried them at 99bikes, good for riding and jogging. Waiting for big cashback on Amazon or Ebay

I own these for running and they are amazing. I use them every day.

I still use Powerbeats for the gym because the band at the back of the Shokz would get annoying if I was lying down on a bench. But there’s no way I’d go for a run with anything other than the Shokz now.

I actually like them so much I bought a pair of minis for my son to run with me and I’m considering buying a another pair of these for his mum to try and coax her come for a run
