  • Note: The '$ to go' amount that appears when you start the challenge is the pre GST amount.
  • This challenge entitles you to $5 bonus Cashback when you spend $50 or more (excluding delivery fees & all other fees) in a single transaction at Amazon Australia through ShopBack between 12.00am and 11.59pm AEDT on 28th December 2022.
  • Limited to one bonus per customer.
  • Only purchases made after you 'Start' this challenge will qualify for the bonus cashback.
  • Available while redemptions last.
  • The $5 bonus Cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you receive for shopping at Amazon Australia through ShopBack.

    how do you know if you're within the first 10000 participants?

    I have zero expectations of anything getting paid from Amazon. Even if it tracks. You just get a Rejected 3 months later when it's no longer possible to dispute it.

      That's the amount that's listed before you make a purchase, will update when your purchase tracks. It's that amount because of some back end maths, that's the minimum spend sans GST. From the post body:

    @gotyourback Just received the 25% CashBack off 1 x Amazon $10 Gift Card under Notifications - Your Offer Is Ready for First Time ShopBack Gift Cards customers.
    However I wasn't able to buy the gift card as this message came up "This deal isn't available to you".
    Is it because I purchased Chemist Warehouse gift cards last week when I signed up to ShopBack?
    I haven't bought Amazon gift cards. I'm surprised to be notified of an offer if I'm not eligible.

      Amazon have a tracking window of up to 4 days. but in my experience it's usually a lot closer to within the first 24 hours.

    Just made a purchase for $90.73 on Amazon after clicking through from the Shopback shop now button.

    I had $15 promotional credit and paid the remaining $75.73 with Amazon Gift Card balance - will I still be eligible for the $5 bonus?

    Purchased items included a Logitech desk mat, Apple 20w charger and a couple of USB C cables (so they’re probably not eligible for any additional cashback anyway, but still hoping to get the $5).

      Hey mate, sorry I missed your comment, Amazon have it listed in their terms that subscription purchases aren't valid for Cashback, however I do find that the first purchase made in the subscription can track if done clicking through ShopBack, just that subsequent purchases in the subscription will not earn Cashback.

    This may be useful to someone, from my purchase yesterday:

    -Purchased an item worth $58.
    -$10 promo credit applied (Amazon gave me this as a sorry for messing up my previous order - it was automatically applied at checkout).
    -Order confirmation showing order total of $48 ($58 less $10 promo credit).
    -Cashback was tracked for the $48 order total (I thought it would not track, or track at $0, due to the use of promo credit). Not sure if this will be rejected later on.
    -$5 bonus also qualified (also thought I did not qualify as the order total was less than $50, but it appears to count the $58 total before promo credit).

    Interesting how this turns out, so just thought I'd share :)

    I partial received my order today but one of the items is damaged. What will happen to the cashback bonus if I return the item for replacement or refund? Will this void the cashback? This item in question will push me below the $50 threshold if that has any impact. @gotyourback Cheers

      Hey mate, so Amazon track on an item level basis, if an item is returned or refunded, the Cashback on the item will be invalidated which will impact the Bonus if this does indeed mean you'll dip below the minimum spend. If you're able to get a replacement for the item, there's a chance the Cashback won't be affected in which case the Bonus will go through, however I can't guarantee that Amazon won't mark the change as a return and new order, which would impact the order. If you do have trouble with this one, shoot me a message and I'll see what I can do, always happy to help.

        GYB, I've placed an order a couple of hours after the deal went live and it has been shipped (money charged on my GC), but it hasn't been tracked yet. On the app it's showing that I've completed the challenge, but still no tracking confirmation. Is that normal?

    We've received your order details and it's being validated by Amazon Australia. You can expect confirmation by 13 March 2023 when our partner store ensures that the order is attributed to Shopback, and has fulfilled all terms and conditions applicable to the store…..

    I haven't received any tracking confirmation email yet, and after sending a PM to the rep, they told me that, yeah, it will confirmed on or before the 14th of March and the bonus will track. Anyone else in the situation, or is it just me?
