  • This challenge entitles you to $5 bonus Cashback when you spend $50 or more (excluding delivery fees & all other fees) in a single transaction at Amazon Australia through ShopBack between 12.00am and 11.59pm AEDT on 28th December 2022.

      Should be sweet to stack those with this Bonus, mate, though keep in mind promo codes may cause the original Cashback to track at %0. The Bonus should still be fine, but the original Cashback might come through confirmed at $0.

          Yeah minimum spend will calculate on the purchase amount, so after promos are applied.

          Everytime there has been an all categories cashback offer, it has always excluded GC purchases. So safe to assume it would be excluded again. But can wait for GYB to confirm.

          Same would apply for renewal of Prime membership.

                @Korban Dallas: "Categories" here refers to their Cashback categories, that are reflective of how the item's categorised on the website. They do not have a category with us labelled "Gifting", and in their terms they state that "Cashback is ineligible for Prime membership subscription purchases, Gift Cards, Kindle Unlimited, Mobile Apps, Audible, Echo Accessories, Kindle Acces", so it's possible it won't track at all based on their terms so I wouldn't risk it myself.

    App Activation Required

    Does that mean it has to be activated on the app and then a purchase can be made on the desktop site? Or everything has to be done via the app? Not a big fan of apps.

      i always activate in-app and order via shopback desktop website, browser extension doesn't work to activate tracking but shows green when click through their website to confirm the cookie applied i guess, all my bonus cashbacks in the past have come through

        Generally only the first delivery is counted for S&S cashback, but it's easy to work around because cancelling and creating a new S&S for the same item works. You'll need it to be over $50 though, since you cannot create multiple S&S in one cart.

          You can create multiple S&S in one cart. Just add all the items to your cart and before you place order there should be a S&S link that let's you select which eligible items in your cart you'd like to S&S.

          @Hiphopopotamus I placed an Amazon order last night using S&S. When I cancelled S&S this morning, there was a message that pending orders will be cancelled. The order wasn't automatically cancelled and I couldn't cancel the order as it was preparing for shipment. I would like to buy the same item again but the item hasn't shipped yet. Do you know if this would affect the $5 cashback? Thanks.

      Use of promo credit generally disqualifies eligibility for cashback. So untick promo credit in final screen so it is not applied to payment in checkout screen to be safe.

        Thanks, in the other deal 10% bonus for Westpac customers, GYB notes says cashback is applied after promo code so just wanted GYB to clarify how that would work

        Bonus Cashback via the Westpac Lounge is calculated based on the Order Value, excluding any GST/Taxes, Delivery Fees, and after any promo or voucher code is applied.

          Hey all, just as an FYI, for this from the post body:

          "The $5 bonus will be added to your account once your regular Cashback turns Confirmed."

          The Bonus status should update to "Reward Pending" within 48 hours of purchasing (usually sooner but can take up to two days to update), but the Bonus itself won't track until the Cashback is confirmed (even if at $0).

        Under Payment Information click Payment Method and deselect in that screen. (At least on the apple app).

        I’ve never been in that screen since I set up Amazon with my credit card and keep adding gift certificates I buy cheap through OzB.
