    Wow… how does it work? You buy extra parts and instruction from there to mod the Lego version?

      The link specified that "Each Optimus Build Requires 1 of set 10302. Spare parts that comes with the set is needed in the build. No bricks from outside the set is needed for build."

          @rjams23: buy one of these to build the original model, then buy an aliexpress knockoff for $40 and use the spare parts to build the variant model.
