Glad to support a local business (even though they don't have stellar reputation).

The less money we can all send to Bezos to make giant phallus rockets the better.

      • noble of you but tech products like these are perfect with amazons return policy.

if you have small hand maybe the lift is more suitable. also the lift has this almost silent clicks.

not telling everyone buy this exact mouse but if you have even a slight pain on the wrist, please try trackball or vertical mouse (but dont buy the cheapo ones from kmart). remember you only have 2 wrists take care of them.

you only have 2 wrists take care of them

      I concur.

Take care of your wrists and they will take care of you.

        Username checks out.

    • I have both this and the Lift. I've been using MX Verticals for a few years (first one clicker failed, replaced under warranty) and got the Lift a few months ago.

I have switched exclusively to the Lift. Fits my hand better and I like the ergonomics of it in general more.

Can anyone suggest a no name brand one? I've been using the $9 Kmart one and it's great, does the job but recently the scroller isn't working as good. Don't want to spend 10x for something similar…

    • If the $9 one works for you then just keep with it bro

Not exactly no-name, as Anker are a known brand, but at $30 you can't go worng - https://www.amazon.com.au/Anker-Wireless-Vertical-Ergonomic-…

I've used this at work and home and has performed very well.

      • +2

This one is actually the exact same one that Kmart sells for $9 :)

        • Is it though? Kmart one could be a rip-off of the Anker one?!

      • Bought this one for my parents I was very impressed, probably more comfy than the one in this post, but build quality not quite the same

      • I thought that was what the Kmart one was, just unbranded? Although I'm pretty sure I paid $15. Or was it $12? (talking about the Kmart one)

Although to be honest, it does feel like a cheap mouse. I just got it as a cheap way to test the vertical mouse concept, which I don't mind actually. The Logitech vertical mice don't seem like much of an option though as they don't have the fast scroll or the side scroll of the MX Master.

The only other 'cheap' ones I've seen seem to be by DELUX on Amazon, but quite a few negative reviews regarding quality have left me still only wondering about them.

      • Just a word of warning mine suddenly died and could not repair to the dongle, googled it and it was a pretty common occurrence

Went on to using the trackball mouse and never looked back.
How much are your wrists worth? Carpal tunnel syndrome does not sound fun.

    • Carpal tunnel syndrome does not sound fun.

I low key suspect I’m beginning to get the on set of this now… and can confirm it definitely is not fun already…

Carpal tunnel from office use? all gamers must be screwed

Any recommendations for trackballs? I'm a sceptic, but people swear by them. Maybe I'll get my work to buy me one to try out before I buy one for personal use!

      • i had one many years ago that was a similar shape. Very comfortable and helped with my wrist issues. And relatively easy to adjust to for office work.

        https://www.logitech.com/en-au/products/mice/mx-ergo-wireles…

I prefer a vertical mouse though as it seems just a little more precise and fluid. And you can game with a vertical mouse whereas a trackball isn't so great for that

    • +1

i had painful wrist issues until i got a vertical mouse speficially a Evoluent VM4R similar to the logitech, haven't had issues since. wouldn't a trackball mouse have the exact same issues with wrist pronation/ulnar deviation?

Been using this in my home office for a couple of years now and it’s fantastic. I have a cheaper one at the other office and have been through a few of the cheapies because they’re not as good and usually aren’t as weighted as this so get knocked over easy. Thanks op will be buying another one so I have a decent one in both places

I've had one for years, it's been treated very badly and is still kicking, it's huge but I have large hands so all good, I can't remember how many times I've charged it, not many at all, the battery is still excellent.

This - mine gets thrown in the backpack daily. Love it.

      Sorted my shoulder/elbow issues

      • +1

Only downside is the scroll wheel is really really loud.

        • That's true it is quite 'clicky' lol. I bought mine after my wrist just went 'nope' and I was in agony for days, I had to wear a brace for a few days till it came good again, and yeah this stopped it ever coming back.

  • $123 now :(

      Centrecom still 99

      Available again @Loracks

  • I have the Logi and can confirm that it is great. But please remember it is also important to get the setup of your desk and chair right if you want to avoid wrist pain.

104 now go Ow u can get for 99

  • I like having a second scroll wheel which this doesn't seem to have.

  • Good price!

  • I use it at work. It is great.👍

  • I had this mouse for 1.5 years until the right click button failed. HN gave me a full refund, however I wish I asked them to order a replacement. Really miss this mouse, thinking of buying it again.

i have been using this mouse fo 3 years and still working. am going to stock as this price was only 9 bucks higher when i got it 3 years ago. :)

      • Good move, I would be doing the same if Xmas wasn't just such a big wallet emptying exercise!

        • centrecom is still 99 if you are still interested or you can price match with OW…

    Back in stock $99 Amazon

  • Just bought one. thx op

  • +1

Showing as $139 for me :( Is it over?

    • +1

Yeah sold out at Amazon. There is a box damaged one for $94.05 if you don't mind. Select Amazon warehouse from the additional sellers. If any issues just send it back but never had any items with more than a scuffed box.

Otherwise centercom $104 delivered or $99 click and collect if you have a store around.

  • If anyone is still keen on this mouse, I just did a pricebeat at Officeworks with the CentreCom link which brings it down to $94.05.

    Thanks OP
