        I would buy cables and accessories. I wouldn't trust them for anything else.

        Cheap cables (i.e. if you only want to get HDMI 2.1 cables and use them as HDMI 2.0, cheap $2 USB to lightning cables (for i-devices out of warranty)). Cheap and decent LAN cables.

        It's been a while since I bought proper computer parts from MSY. However, the most recent warranty they did for me was Kingston A2000 1TB. MSY gave me a full refund after 4 years so can't complain.

        I will miss dirt cheap HDMI and LAN cables from them.

        I got to say as a computer enthusiast I never bought one single thing from them, but they were a competitor nonetheless and I personally just like more competition.

        Seems like from the comments below they had some good cable deals.

          @KARMAAA: You must be really young. MSY used to be quite popular after the introduction of GST and before online stores took off. Used to feel like visiting Soup Nazi (if you watched Seinfeld) when MSY was popular. Their PDF price list used to be a benchmark price (to spot bargains elsewhere).

          For the past few years, I only went to get cheap cables and clearance items (dirt cheap USB hubs). Hardly any queue and the staff appeared nicer. Will miss cheap cables from MSY.

        Good for WA at least, we don't have as many retailers here as NSW and VIC. Austin computer and PLE's pricing sucks, other smaller ones are even worse.
