I ordered one and would use it but if I didn’t would still get it as a gift. Selling for profit doesn’t sit with me but probably would for others here

    • -2

      100% profit guaranteed

      …and thats why theyre pissed

      • +2

Thanks to Franco cozzo I got one each at Bunnings North Melbourne & Footscray….

        • -2

looking fwd to seeing your uploaded pics and receipts bro!

      • Nah man, I could 100% use one of these, however I would never pay over $100 for a karcher anything. A price like this, I would have been stoked.

Oh, and when the ozito 2x18v chainsaws were $30, I bought three- one for me, two for different family members. Same with the 2x18v blowers that were marked down by 80+%, but I got 4 of those.

I’m really keen for an outdoor sweeper bargain lol.

I don’t really understand why you’re so upset- is it because of a personal link to the product/store, or is it just the thought of scalpers that annoys you? Personally, I hate scalpers, they’re scum that f up the market, but all we can do is ignore them and not buy from them.

    • i used to work for a timber/building yard and one day the boss gave us one of these… didnt have any idea what it would be good for.. but after a few tries it all made sense… great for the area we moved concrete bags, as there was sometimes 5-30mm of cement dust etc all over the concrete floor… and one pass through with one of these would sweep it all inside and into a collector box sorta thing in the middle (both circular brushes would twirl inwards).. would made the concrete look like there wasn't any sand on it to begin with.. etc…

this thing was way faster and easier than sweeping with a broom.. next step up from this is the ride on sweeper to keep the concrete flooring clean from dust/dirt etc.

so if you got anywhere with a mostly smooth surface that gets sandy, dusty or dirty alott and want to keep it looking smick.. then these are great.. (not 99% dust/dirt dollection like a vacuum) but these are great for outdoor type areas for example, that you want to look clean but that don't require a vacuum.

… not sure about sweeping up leaves though.. never tried that or much anything else

Buckle up ladies and gentlemen, let's see what happens.

They personally called me and offered to honour the price when there was the price error for the 2x 54v dewalt flexvolt kit. Think it was supposed to be $480 or so. They offered it the $189 price error price.

I've bought so much over the last few months, maybe I'll get lucky again.

    • +1

its already cancelled. i got a call from my local store, she mentioned they received over 200+ orders within 60mins. theyre well aware of this being hammered online lol i think theyre just waiting from the online orders team to spam out a universal email about the refund and apology.

      • -1

how are they going to sweep up this mess…?
        hang on…ive got an idea!

        • +1

Dude enough trolling the post LOL :)

  • Can you use this with another branded pressure washer, or do they use proprietary connectors?

    • +1

These are a 'broom' geared to the wheels. Not a pressure washer attachment but a seperate tool made by Karcher.

      • Thanks, just read the reviews… quite a specific use case. Dammit, thought it was a surface cleaner. Hoping for a cancellation/refund. Happy with my leaf blower and blower/vac.

@franco cozzo can you please call Bunnings to confirm above?

      • -4

        im more of a gerni-guy so…sorry!

        • +3

Unless they have a price error

can someone link me the bunnings drone price error post please. want to see what bargain i missed out on

    • +3

I missed out on the drone by 3 mins but they gave me and others a $200 gift card. So totally worth it

Missed another Bunnings deal recently they provided a $50 gift card.

Contrary to today's troll totally worth a 1 min purchase/refund

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/490047

    • Agree with above

    • It was a good one. A handful of people (those that got their order in first) were sold the drone for the advertised price, as a gesture of goodwill.

The vast majority of others recieved a $250 voucher as a "sorry for the price error."

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/490047

      • +1

Nice… so a bunch of ppl got the drone at the reduced price and majority got a voucher

        • Yeah, it would've cost Bunnings a small fortune, but in hindsight quite clever of them. $250 will gain you entry to an 18v tool system, and once you're down that path there's a tool skin for everything, and you'll need more batteries too :)

  • +2

    Lol

  • +1

😂 forogt to add the zero when putting it on special i see

  • +1

Thanks god i didn’t see this post earlier

  • Didn't even realise if its battery powered or cable. Looks like no cable. Do we need a separate battery or its manual?

    • +2

      muscle power required

  • +1

Why? For leaves etc, use a blower. Faster and less effort than a device that you have to push over every inch. Collecting one pile at the end is less manual labor than this.

If you own an indoor basketball ring… Maybe.

    • +3

At my place I get heaps of gum leaves and debris, and have a long drive. Blowers are good, but you do still have to pick up the leaves somehow, and the bower tends to blow stuff into hard to reach places, a sweeper would be great for a quick tidy up of the bulk stuff

      • I'm similar. I just had to git gud with the blower. I go over a few bits but still pretty easy

      • Similar to you. Wondering if something like this might work. We’ve got a 20-30m high tree that drops a sea of leaves, I had to order a second green waste bin and still can’t manage it.
Going to explore things like this but would require a lot of emptying. Saw it’s not as good with sawdust etc
Could peg a tarp to the ground and blow leaves onto tarp and then pick up.

    • +1

      I prefer blowing and leaving

  • +2

I haven't got any update yet on my order on whether it is cancelled.

    • +1

Same here. Maybe our order goes through.

  • I always miss pricing error items

  • Price error aside…does anyone own any of the Karcher Sweepers or Ryobi Sweeper? Would you recommend it?

    • I've used one of both and a stihl one. Good for sweeping a warehouse if you have lots of clean open runs. They dont collect stuff very well when turning. Also they dont get the really small stuff but make a floor look much better than not sweeped at all. Would be useless in a house or car garage.

  • +1

I suspect this could be a stock clearance. Initially powerpass was showing out of stock and now its gone from the website. We may get these at the end of the day 🫣

Mods please give the troll @franco cozzo's dummy and let him to suck it up for a long nap.

@scotty can you please boost my amount of downvotes available
For some reason there are more than 5 comments I want to downvote on this post

        • +1

I think the intended recipient of your downvotes is in the penalty box again lmao

I’m fairly certain that the reality hit found it’s mark and it wasn’t @Goeff aha

  • +1

Still no cancellation of my order!

    • +11

Neither… they’re just negotiating the size of the gift card now I can sense it. Franco Cozzo is urging them to not do it but management is strong and feel the OzB community must be fairly compensated for the emotional hardship caused..

      • +3

I actually really have a good use case for this

        • Likewise, I just don’t expect it to be honoured. Nor a gift card either tbh but hey at this stage I’m taking no news as good news 😂

      • Love the analysis…and agree, us ozB community deserve the rightful-compensation for emotional hardship but also our time. After all, it is their duty of care and customer service promise “our price guarantee” 😁

        • +3

The sweetest victory will be, if it’s honoured or compensated for in any way, that it was pi$$ Franco coz off majorly

          • +1

@parsimonious one: I am praying for that to happen.
So far, no phone call or cancellation email.

            Stay strong, fellow OzB folks!

that it was pi$$ Franco coz off majorly

Good to see the Troll has been locked up for now.

          • +1

@parsimonious one: Just received the email from Bunnings… they are honouring the price and will deliver late January!!

      • yes, emotional damage is very painful.

( Please speak in Uncle Roger's accent)

    • Me either. No email. No phone call. Zippo.

  • Dam missed out

    • Franco is the new Mujeeb ? 😜

    • +5

Good one! Thanks for the update

I’ve still not heard any update one way or the other for my order 🤔

  • +7

Just got a call that my order is ready for collection
    I ordered 3

    • +1

      Nice!

      Franco will be delighted!

      • +1

Hi Franco. The girl who called asked me to tell you "ozbargain told you so"

  • it is truely entertaining to read thorugh all the comments, better than watching avatar … I shall get more popcorns from Coles.

  • Interesting, more than 24 hours after putting the order and no call or cancellation email.

I’m not expecting to be honoured or receive a GC.

  • +13

Who just got the email stating "Unfortunately, we discovered the product was incorrectly priced on our website at the time you placed your order and should have been priced at $299, not $12.95. While we made a genuine mistake in listing this item at the incorrect price, we always try to do the right thing by our customers and we wanted to let you know that we are honouring the price on your order.
