Connect PS5 to the TV's eARC connection, not directly to the soundbar

After some research I think the ideal configuration would be ps5 > C2, C2 eArc > soundbar.
How do you price match with a receipt? I got this response from JB live chat: 'Unfortunately we're not able to price match receipts, we can only match ticketed prices currently listed'
Yeah, I'm getting shut down by them too. Supplied them the TGG receipt and also the JB ones listed earlier, but they won't play ball.
"We've received a lot of enquiries regarding this sale made by TGG, Really sorry but this pricings are not something we can match with, We can only match with competitors determining the price they are giving currently, I can see that it was matched by JB earlier but that was a mistake from one of our agent which was corrected then, I am still happy to have a look and see what I can do for you if you give me a moment."
Ive tried JB and TGG as well and best i got was 1050 from TGG
my brother is looking to upgrade his setup and he wants to stick with soundbars, and I'm trying to get him to go to something with proper centre+bookshelf fronts with receiver. he is pretty resistant, but I can't seem to find enough information to know whether it's worth pushing or just let him get a soundbar.
when I read reviews online they don't seem to compare to other form factors. how does a premium soundbar like this compare to a decent non-soundbar option (say like $1500-2000 on 2xfront, centre, sub)?
his current soundbar is just so shockingly bad, it muddies everything together and as soon as there's dialogue and anything else (music/sound effects) it's just a mess. are these modern top-tier ones hugely improved?

I got it for 965aud when i agreed to pay 149$ to extend the warranty from 2 years to 5 years from good guys, paid 1114aud in total.
Managed to get jb hifi helensvale to do it for $970. Had a $10 jb perks voucher and tied it in with my 15% tcn home gift cards costing me a total of $816!

I ask due to my package arriving as though it had been opened, re-taped over and not having the sticker in the photo above on my soundbar and being concerned it’s been refurbished / opened prior

are there any scratches/dust anywhere? if so, maybe send the seller a photo and see what they say. just checked out unboxing vids for mine and apparently it had the same sticker too though I honestly don't remember it. could it be a regional thing?
