This deal is back and instead of sold by Amazon US via AU this is now a third party - 95% over 116 ratings - and fullfilled by Amazon AU. Assuming stocks are all legit I say its a better deal and you dont have to wait for the long shipping times. Dipped about 8 dollars cheaper a few days ago but price immediately went up to this. I dont know if it will dip down but before in case it goes up again thought to post it to be on the safe side.

These are CL22 (22-22-22-52), so below average but on par for the course for these larger sized sodimms. There are better timing 64gb kits, but those are 1.35v which is incompatible with many notebooks & nucs (albeit I think nuc extremes runs them just fine) and these 1.2v kits here are always the safe bet.

    Another option is Crucial CT32G4SFD832A
Same timings, CL22, and voltage. A pair of them worked quite well in my Framework.

Usually around $130 a stick from various retailers:
    https://www.centrecom.com.au/crucial-32gb-1x32gb-ddr4-3200-s…

    • Nice spot, definitely cheaper than this deal for basically identical specs.

With that said just a PSA that I would refrain from using centre con again mate, as they have shown themselves again and again to deceive customers and cancel orders, this is especially bad with this deal. I think someplace like umart or scorptec would be better deserving of your patronage given same/similiar if not cheaper prices.

      • Good point on Centrecom's shady practices.
I originally bought one stick from Amazon and another from Scorptec. You're right it is better to support reputable shops like Umart and Scorptec.

      • Ive had awful experiences with Centrecom even without buying something on a crazy sale

    • I had my eye on the G.skill Ripjaws for over a year and ended up going with the Crucial local as well.
Was $243 delivered for a pair last month.

Kingston HyperX Impact (or Fury after the rebrand) are way better timings at CL20, 1.2v and are JEDEC / don’t need XMP profiles.

    Much better purchase: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B097QK6M3W

    • Except these are 50$ extra you are looking at mate. Not going to argue its not better but the price difference is there.

Would rather spend 350 than waste 300

        • agreed

I second that. compatible and performing, no XMP necessary

had them in Razer Blades no issues

  • In a NUC with 1.2v support only, would CL20 be as good as you can get for 3200/DDR4?

    • For a Sodimm in general you’ll struggle to find anything below CL20 @ 3200, there may be one or two out there but when you limit that to 1.2v then the choices are, I think, zero

      • Thanks for the reply. So, given 16gb, CL22 SO-DIMMs are as cheap as $42, how much benefit is there in paying ~1.5x to 2x as much on CL20?

        • Very little benefit for the average user

          • @desty: Roger that. I'll go cheap CL22 then

    • Make sure you check how your specific model NUC handles RAM speeds. Some will revert to 2133 if you get RAM that's faster than supported (e.g. 3200 sticks may result in 2133 on a NUC that supports 2400 or 2666).

      • Yep all good, mine supports 3200 but not any voltage above 1.2v
