IMB is once again back with a $50 bonus like the last deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/736561) and with similar terms. Exclude customers residing in postcodes 2500-2551 and 2571-2580.

Description from their website:

"$50 promotion is valid for new IMB members who open an Everyday Unlimited Account between 12/12/2022 and 31/1/2023. Account eligibility requirements apply. To be eligible for the $50 bonus, new members must make 6 transactions using an IMB Bank Visa Debit Card, and hold a minimum account balance of $500 at the end of the promotional period (11:59pm on 14/2/2023). $50 bonus is only available for new Everyday Unlimited Accounts opened by new members aged 18 years and over, and with a residential postcode outside 2500-2551 and 2571-2580. Offer excludes Everyday Unlimited Kick Start accounts. Bonus $50 payment will be paid by 7th March 2023. IMB reserves the right to change or withdraw these offers at any time."

So basically, to get the $50 bonus:

** Open account by 31 January 2023
** Make 6 transactions
** Deposit $500 into account before 15 February (history shows transferring in funds via OSKO to IMB Bank can be problematic).
** Set reminder on 7 March to check for bonus money.

Make sure your residential address is outside 2500-2551 and 2571-2580.

        I sent a message yesterday (Wednesday) through the IMB Facebook page via messenger. They promptly acknowledged my message and investigated. The bonus was paid into my account within the next 20 minutes and an apology for the delay was given.

        Just got off the phone to them and was told they've been having some issues and I'd be "put on a list" to get the $50… sounds very poorly run.

    They will ask you alot of questions and treat you like criminal. Their card has hidden charges too.

      This interested me and while I couldn't really find an answer, there's a lot of IMB branches in Wollongong/Shellharbour which these postcodes seem to focus on. My guess is they want to branch out (pardon the pun) to other areas being under served.
