    $210 G32 better deal?

    • +3

yeah. The Snapdragon 680 in the G32 is way better than this.

  • Sadly, another example of less for more in the current year's phone market vs previous years. On paper, the Moto G22 offers more for less, currently $199 from JB HiFi and its not even on sale. If I wanted to spend $249 at JB HiFi I would go for the Oppo A54 5G despite the reduced storage. But, I wouldn't want to spend that much, so I'd either go for an Optus locked realme C21 for $139 at Coles if one can still be found or an Optus locked Motorola E32 currently on sale for $149. Probably still over priced at those prices too - the Optus realme C21 has been as low as $29. The Optus locked Optus X Swift 5g on sale for $149 is probably a better phone but Optus appear to have had the 850Mhz band removed which makes it a no for me, Optus are spiteful like that on their branded ZTE phones. Apart from the locking the Optus phones all have less storage and while the cameras don't offer as many megapixels I doubt that really matters. The TCL probably uses binning anyway. The realme seems to be able to be hacked to be a dual SIM phone while it is on Android 10. I've picked Optus locked phones as they've been good to me about unlocking maybe because I've been a customer and their locked phones are known to work on their MVNOs while not all of Telstras do.

  • Poor value..

    HD screen
Pretty standard 4gb ram like many other sub-200 phones these days
    No 5g
