Earn 2,000 - 4,000 Bonus Yums when you first book on TheFork app with the code HELLO.

I believe this is the first time ever 4,000 Bonus Yums (total $100 off) are offered for making one booking!

2,000 Yums = $50 off your next bill, at participating restaurants
4,000 Yums = total $100 off ($50 off next two bills), at participating restaurants

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Download TheFork App (iOS / Android)
  2. Make your first booking (create new account)
  3. Select either standard restaurants (will earn 2,000 bonus Yums with code HELLO) or restaurants offering "Double Yums" promo - use the search filter (will earn 4,000 bonus Yums with code HELLO!!)
  4. Enter code HELLO at time of booking (expires 11:59pm on 7 Jan 2023) and validate - you will see confirmation of bonus 2,000 or 4,000 Yums, prior to confirming booking

You need to make the booking prior to code expiry - you can make advanced bookings/dine after the deadline

Reminder:

  • Each standard booking via the web/mobile site/app = 100 Yums
  • For every friend you invite to make their first booking = they'll earn 1000 Yums on their first booking ($20 off next booking) and you'll receive 500 Yums per successful referral

How Yums can be redeemed:
1,000 Yums = $20 off your next bill, at participating restaurants

If you are new to TheFork.. Here is how to score even more Yums (total 5,000 Yums worth $120 of free food):

    1. Use a referral code first (via Desktop site booking) - new signup is 1,000 Yums i.e. $20 off your next bill

    2. Then download & make 2nd booking via the app, for 2,000-4,000 bonus Yums i.e. $50-$100 off your next restaurant bills - code HELLO above, expiring 7 Jan 2023

  • If you don't show up do you still get your Yums? Not planning on doing this, but just wondering.

    • Sometimes πŸ˜…

i guess depending on the restaurant if they reported then you get nothing
but maybe some restaurant not, due to lack of training, or forget too busy, or just dont care because they get nothing from the fork anyway (i guess).

but if many doing it on purpose then i can tell for sure we wont have the fork anymore soon

  • Tempting but I have so many Yums!

You can never have too many Yums πŸ˜‚

Just make sure they don’t expire.
And enjoy $50 off bookings (2,000 Yums)!

The Fork was much better back when it was Dimmi.
Once it became The Fork the 30-50% off offers were closed to single diners
and the AMEX spend $50 get $20 back disappeared around that time too.
Any you could spend the points at many more places.

I only use it for bonus points booking now and using the bonus points.

  • How does this work.
Say I book a restaurant and we spend $150.
I'm guessing we pay 150 on the night direct to the restaurant and get these 'yum' points for next booking? Then when I do the next booking, how do I redeem the points?

      Book a restaurant, enter code
      Spend whatever amount
Then Yums are credited to your account
You now have say 4000 Yums (worth $100)

You make a second booking - you search a restaurant where you can "redeem Yums"
      Book, select "use my Yums"
Maximum you can redeem is 2000 Yums per booking ($50 off)
You can therefore choose a casual dining/cafe/cheap eats location where your total can be just over $50 aka essentially free or minimal to pay

      Rinse, repeat

      • The number of restaurants that accept Yums redemption are far more limited. At least in Syd.

  • Can I use Entertainment Book or other deals at the same time as getting the Yums?

    • Getting the Yums yes, not when you redeem your Yums

      • Sounds good. Thanks!
